I'm also into modelling, a few years ago, I was bequeived a model layout from my dear departed Grandad but unfortunatlly about 4-5 years ago, it got damaged by a leak in my Grandmother's lobby, which was where the layout was, all the stock and track were saved but the board wasn't unfortunatly and i've been trying to find space to build a new layout.
To anyone's interest, I've made a attempt on building a Mavis, the same way as Wilbert Awdry did, as well as a Henrietta and Victoria, to go with my Hornby Toby.

Just like skarloey did in old faithful, in 1951/1952, before his 9-year overhaul, Rheneas kept the trains runnings to keep the line running in service and for the sake of passengers
4:59 5:07 When I hear these quotes, I think of this: someone telling me that old-fashioned things from the 80s, 90s, 2000s (maybe even 50s and 60s) like pc laptops, vhs tapes and vcrs, record players, and old merchandises can’t be as useful as nowadays modern things, and I warmheartedly respond that they actually can if they’re preserved and overhauled and taking cared of as they deserve to be
I don’t know why the engines wanted to teach Sir Handel a lesson? Sure he may boast about his steam roller wheels, but still I think the engines are taking it a bit too far. I mean in the book, sir Handel helps get his train on time thanks to his new wheels. Like Peter Sam’s new funnel, how it was proven useful. Sure they look unusual but it has proven useful.

I tell ya, Halloween is such the holiday to dig deep into the vibes of fun festivities of telling dark folktales in among fantasies and real life events that actually happen. It's not the best holiday of the year by far, but it is somethin' to enjoy living in for the galore of discovering the fantasies and what dark elements in them that make storytelling so entertaining.
