The moment we were robbed of the 2012 League title by Nielsen's dangerous riding and that Royno almost lost a leg as a result of his injuries but more so by Chris Louis cheating and Dave Robinson allowing Louis to take him - with no witnesses - to 'view the video' AFTER Robinson had conveyed his decision to exclude Nielsen to the team managers and the Clerk of The Course absolutely destroying our hopes- as a result no Heathens fans or riders stayed for the presentations with our riders heading to Hospital still in their gear to check our Captain's health. Needless to say Louis was later heavily fined by an SCB hearing and Robinson was severely criticised and warned about his future as a referee and removed from a number of future Heathens meetings - including the 2013 final (again at Saddlebow Road,) when - to be honest - we blockaded the referees box so he couldn't get in and Tony Steele was appointed as a late replacement. This was also the beginning of a few seasons of serious ill will between Cradley and Mildenhall with Lewis 'The Beast From The East' Blackbird joining Cradley from Mildenhall in 2013 and thoroughly enjoying helping us sweep the board AND also buying into the intense desire to beat Mildy. Happily relations between The Heathens and The Fen Tigers have massively improved but we will NEVER ever forgive or forget what Louis and Robinson did to us that night they were a disgrace to the sport.

No wonder Max wasn't happy. Halsey did the worst thing any rider can do to an opponent ever by "rolling off" the throttle and stopping dead in front of him. If they'd crashed Halsey would have got booted, he should have been booted even though there was no crash. Dirty riding.
