it should be understood that this abnormal and Antique design is/was a 'short and fat' parody of good model aircraft design.!!! the fuselage SHOULD be made sufficiently rigid/strong via the use of doublers, glue fillets at the joins and/or a few FORMERS. when wire pushrods are 'bendy', like these are, they NEED to be supported along their length, in a way that will Prevent flexing during 'push'. the functionality of the pushrod doublers used is less-than certain. it is recommended that, in the future, WOOD and wire pushrods be Fabricated. or suitably Long and Narrow tubular pushrod guides be used. a Functional long pushrod guide can be fabricated, using paper and tape; or tubes from inside an ink pen. a pushrod guide must be fixed/Stationary, in order to 'work'. except for the Z-bends, a pushrod Should be Straight.! 2222 painting and adding Cosmetic bits has made your model HEAVIER than it would otherwise be. 2332 thick trailing edges make More Drag than thin ones do.! googletranslate
Yes, i have used wood to make fuselage strong, pushrods are supported along their length and guided by paper tubes, i have check pushrods they don't flex. Plane weight is 620gm with electronics before painting it was 590gm. Yes yo are right about trailing edge it is thick so it was flying unstable and plane don't lift itself. Why don't it come to my mind about thick trailing edge.. Thank you so much for your comment, i really appreciate it.
You are setting yourself for failure. Never use thermocol for building RC planes or any fixed wing, It's lightweight with very low density and surface tension, Instead use depron sheets or coro sheet which are much better alternative. If you use depron sheet, remember to always cover it with laminating sheet or packing tape. Rest have fun flying.
Would have been great for a beginner like me had you used your voice to describe each thing you did with the why and how to,. especially your receiver manipulations and lights. Thanks for intro. Would this radio be good enough for an FMS 1400 Pitts V2, a 6s, 4 channel, and can it be used with a Reflex module? Any help appreciated. My Pitts is ready to load just a battery and radio gear.
