My door opening is 10'. I couldn't find a supplier to sell a track cover in this length. How do I join two pieces of cover together to ensure a smooth transition?
This method worked for a first-timer. I duct-taped the screen to a table. I lacked the nerve to cut the screen so close, rather I gave it 1-2" extra, & trimmed it later with curved-blade scissors. Also, the convex wheel tended to jump the track more than the concave, so I alternated wheels as I thought necessary. Prime Line gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ive seen this product and the idea is exactly what Im looking for, except that its not wide enough! It should really go edge to edge. The edges are where my cats are ripping the screen off the door and loosening off the splines to sneak out.
Thank you for a clear and concise video. My lock stopped working last night. Fortunately we had extra locks from the last time this happened (I was not the one who switched it out then), and I was able to switch it out in 5 minutes, without calling anyone for help. I really appreciate you and your instructions.
Don’t buy this guy’s products. He is dishonest and has lied about other people’s reputations in order to glorify his own. He should apologize!! You can open his “lock” with a milk jug!
Thanks! I got a new lock set and needed to move my original key to the new dead bolt, great help from your video! I just needed 2 followers to make the transfer
Cannot figure out how to remove the top hinge pin on an old style stall door to replace. Kinda looks like a hollow pin with threads so a bolt can screw into it, but it never comes out. Any suggestion?
no one is kicking a door that high... if you use one of these, put them below the knob where most people kick and where most of the force will be absorbed.
Be careful with the spline size, especially if you are using an aluminium screen, because you will end shreding the screen with the roller, you will need a spline a little narrower than the groove so you dont have to push too hard, I ended up cutting 2 screens before I realised it
Great video! I ordered my repair kit the other day. Didn’t realize it was going to be such a cheap fix. The neighborhood squirrels have done a number on my screen door this winter!
Now, what do we do when it seizes up and won’t move at all because the top pin came out? And it’s been stuck in the “locked position” for two months rendering that door useless? I have tried everything to get that lock to open, to take the bottom pin out like you would a pin in a door, but it’s just stuck locked.
