What treats r u feeding the dogs? They are square and I'm wondering if you prepared them from a larger piece. I have two female cane corso puppies I want to start training and these treats look good. Thanks
this is just what I was looking for! my 5 month old greyhound loves to stalk and chase the toy and pounce but I'm having trouble getting the toy off the ground, I don't present it right so he can't get a grip
Both, majority of the time luring is the primary focus as it is easier to grasp especially with older dogs. But highly encourage puppy owners to play around with shaping
Great video love the way your feeding (awarding) your dog through the pouch. Any advice on getting the dog front paws on the touch pad? I have attempted this with a regular dog bowl, but it keeps moving. Does the touch pad have weight in order to keep it stabilized and does it need to be on grass or dirt?

I have a dotson mixed, ppl think it’s mixed with a chihuahua and other ppl think it’s mixed with another breed, anyways she has a lot of personality but she doesn’t play with toys, she’d rather just play with other dogs and cats as well as other livestock’s. She plays with a wine cork, normally just chewin it when she’s bored, the same way with her stuffed toys, she’ll play with them when she’s extremely bored. I also try to play with her with the toys but she quickly gets bored
Hello I am curious if you have something else someone can do besides walking backwards? I use a cane and physically can't walk backwards. I think walking sideways also doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?
What is the negative reinforcement? My dog chooses when to sit and when to not sit. For instance if I have no treats he just disregards this command 50% of the time. LOL I correct him by pulling up on his leash and pushing his butt down saying sit... then he'll do it afterwards.
Never use a flexi as a slip leash! There is always tension on the leash and especially with puppies it’s really dangerous. The only proper way to use a flexi leash is clipped on a harness. Otherwise you’re only encouraging your dog to pull on the lead because there is always tension on it.
Glad you have your own systems, we have had success with thousands of dogs when you use a retractable appropriately. You do you, we will train in ways that have been successful for years. Cheers!

Hello! I loved your video! Can you also make a video on how to teach a dog to retrieve something when you have a very very gentle dog? My service dog in training needs to learn how to retrieve medications and my phone and stuff for me, but she is just so gentle and won’t even put her mouth on things. (She’s also not very toy motivated) I know how to teach a dog it because I have taught my other dog it, I just need help with how to teach a dog it that is very gentle and not toy motivated. Can you make a video on how to get a dog to not be reactive towards other dogs? I have a service dog in training and she may have to retire early because she has recently started barking and having reactivity towards other dogs. Please please help me. You are my last hope.
A flexi is a long leash with a comfortable handle on it. Not only that, but A) you can't get leash burns like you would with a powerful dog pulling on a long line. And B) you don't have to be constantly fooling with gathering up the leash as the dog comes back to you. Anyway, I start with flexis and then move to long lines for dragging when the dog is ready. Makes perfect sense to me. Been doing it successfully for 22 years
