I upgrade sports documentaries. - Replacing old game footage from the original docs with better quality footage. - Creating a chronological timeline, which I personally prefer. - Correcting old NBA docs that have misplaced game footage in their timeline etc...
I love the Lakers, but they had no damn shot against the Pistons in 89. They were lucky to have won it in 88. Bad Boys do not deserve the bad rap of MJ's Bulls, Larry's Celtics, and Magic's Lakers. In other words, Byron Scott is so full of shit in this epsiode. Great players, but not an alpha male, and certainly a mediocre coach. I don't trust his anlaysis at all here. Proof is the 88 Series, Lakers were done if Isiah stays healthy and they know it.
To come from such challenging beginnings without a fatherly role model and to develop into such an incredible individual and then to have the strength and fortitude to persevere through the loss of his brother, his son and then his family. I grew up idolizing Dr. J for what he was doing as a basketball player but this documentary made me see that all that pales in comparison to Julius Erving the person. The word "class" seems inadequate to describe him.
Nobody idolises the USA this much any longer. The myth is broken. Foreigners even dominate the NBA. The capital has been lost to idiotic leadership and attitudes.
I was a Nets fan as a kid, and was lucky enough to witness the ABA via local telecasts. Julius was incredible beyond words! I was crushed when the Nets sold him to Philadelphia. Unfortunately, people never saw Erving at his very very best .....not because he wasn't as great, but because the Sixers were chock full of stars that were ball hogs. Even in 1983, as great as he still was, he wasn't the same Erving that he was when he was younger.
This has been with Yankee management for more years than I can remember. The team has no accession plan for its minor leagers such as names from the past Florial, Frazier and Andujar. The problem has been that the organization refuses to let go of these players that are not going to play on the major league. There are a hand ful of playe4s that face this same ordeal, Peraza, Narvaez, and Pereira .
Ito ang the best ever the best ever forever kahit na sa Paris Olympic mo pa sila isabak sa batang edad dream team with Michael Air Jordan panis kahit na si Gianis pa yan Yokic, Doncic, Wemby kung sino pang sinasabi nilang magaling sa NBA ngayon panis. Solid Michael Air Jordan.
Just watch the origional version from 1996...its full of timeline mistakes... It bothered me from the time of its release so now I personally re-edited the whole dvd... mostly for my own viewing pleasure. Maybe nobody notices the mistakes in the origional dvd but I do. Playoff action shown in the regular season part of the dvd for example. I also dislike slowmotion images because bball is a fast sport and it should amaze you in live speed in my opinion. I love my own edited version and I like to share them here for those who enjoy. If you enjoy, please let me know.
@@airtime23 exactly... If you were watching the league in those years you recognize those highlights are in the wrong place. Im slowly re-editing a lot of those old tapes. Dont have much time to do it but every now and then I get some time and Im always excited when I finish one. Im busy with the 1993 bulls three peat dvd and also the 1997 bulls dvd... I cant always fix everything in the origional dvd because I cant delete the audio stream... The greg anthony shove was funny but I dont understand why they have to put that into the playoff part of the dvd... There are so many errors like that. They just pick and choose highlights that they like and put them wherever they like. Must be disturbing for most bball fans because Im sure Im not the only person who notices... Hope you enjoyed the 1996 re-edit haha. Almost every part is posted, just check the playlist section. Thanks for commenting anyway...
There is a wider Conversation that isnt happening, that should be happening. #IsaiahThomas ... I got to thinking that the #NBA @NBA is Notorious for beefs and egos. So why scapegoat #IsaiahThomas and not place him on the Roster for the 1992 Olympics? Let's get real. It was Ego Group Think, that was the reason #IsaiahThomas did not participate in the 1992 Olympics. I'm not picking on #CharlesBarcley when I say this. It speaks to my point. During the game with Angola, Charles Barkley elbowed some of the Athletes. Then commented that Angola is in trouble. What really is the difference between the Athletic Mindset, of Isaiah Thomas, and the Athletic mindset of Charles Barkley. And for that matter what was the difference betewen the Athletic Mindset of Isaiah Thomas, and the Athlete's that were on the 1992 Roster for the Olympics? It is a Mindset that is fostered and displayed by all Competitive Atheletes. Again, let's get real.
So many think Jordan made the NBA Great. That would be Bird and Magic. That's Who Micheal emulated. He took the torch and carried it well. LeBronze sat on the Torch and his asshole put it out!!!
There will never be 11 hof on one team with the legends of the game man this team was stacked and I loved watching this and to see the GOAT and Magic and Bird Ewing Robinson Malone Stockton it was so amazing Pippen I was awe struck cause watching my idols win it all for our country
Watching them play together can only be described as poetry in motion. They are the gold standard, and every Olympic basketball team is measured against.
I am so Blessed to have witnessed greatness when I was growing up watching Ali fights.... And seeing all the other Boxers fights. Also. Respect to them all. Real Men.
If the yugoslavian team was still in tact in 1992, they would have given the dream team an interesting challange. That team was together for years... chenistry for years...
