I kinda agree with you on the burgundy H&M outfit. I wanted it, I think I was exited by the color and sheen. I went into the store and tried on the jacket of the same material, it was as well made as I thought. So I’m okay with missing out on it.
I treated myself to this bag a few months ago. It was definitely my go to bag all summer. Thanks for the review and for showing us what fits inside the bag.
Cousin, you are not lying about that section of the city. I worked up there in high school. I purchased my first pair of luxury sun shades in that store. Then you went to Georgetown for sweat suits & gold jewelry!
Wisconsin Avenue was the spot. You brought back so many memories when you mentioned Saks Jandel! Sad to see the changes in the area--I even remember when White Flint Mall was the place to go way back in the day. I think a lot of movement more recently went up the street to Bethesda Row. There's no big department store, but they do have Anine Bing, Veronica Beard, and Anthropologie.
@Bougiecousin I absolutely love your vlogs! I wait for them! Love your style, as I will be joining the 40’s and over club next month. Where is this denim jacket you have on from? I absolutely love it.
Watching your Wisconsin Ave blog made me so sad! I had my first date with my husband in that area at the Cheesecake Factory 😂. That Saks was where I saw the Louis Vuitton speedy cerise back in the early 2000 and was too cheap to spend the extra 2 or 300 over the price of the regular speedy, which was only around 550 back then! The regret! 😩😩
I remember that area, I worked in Mazza Gallarie when I was in college. The Neiman’s and Ann Taylor, then ate at the Maggaiano’s for lunch. Also loved the Pottery Barn at the othee side of the street. Memories. Thanks for the nostalgia.
Hello Cousin, I’ve enjoyed your video. My shopping city which is San Francisco has declined tremendously, we have lost a lot of our stores and we are still losing high end stores. Thank you for sharing the status of your high end stores.
Your anatomy of Wisconsin Ave and surrounding shopping areas is so on point. My exact sentiments. I loved Wisconsin Ave when I was a younger lady. My spirit would light up. 😊 Loehmanns, Saks, Neiman, Boogie Monger (sandwich shop).
It’s crazy that you’re saying all of this about those areas because I was thinking the same thing and I’m not even from here originally. I’ve lived here about 15 years and when I first moved here from Savannah Georgia, that’s how I felt when I went on Wisconsin Avenue I had never seen Chanel in person or Jimmy Choo so that area was amazing to me and now when you go over there, it’s like so gloomy. Heck, they even closed the Filene’s Basement. 😢
Hey cousin, I was on the live this morning and you ain’t lying those Ferragamo leopard shoes along with the red ones are 🔥🔥🔥 Now I loved the cargo pants with the red shoes but the sweatshirt through me off. I thought the LV sign looked so bootleg! 😂 Enjoyed the vlog! TFS 😊❤
I have just say I love all your videos. But cuz your vlogs are the ish too. 😘 The red shoes are gorgeous. Fun fact you encouraged me to stop buying so much expensive perfume. And sis I’m a choker girl too. It’s definitely something sexy about choker’s.🤭 Girl when looked at all the money I spent. I could’ve purchased me a Chanel-lee or something. 🤦🏽♀️
@@Bougiecousin I purchased them today. I showed the salesperson the video. She remembered you and love the video footage. I purchased the black pair. Thank you.
You’re right!! Mazza Gallerie used to be the place to do all of your high shopping and dinning in the 90s. That area was always busy back then it started to decline during the early to mid 2000s.
Thanks sis for the idea for the white T-shirt but let me hip you too one better go to Michael’s get a oversize white T-shirt and you can get three on for the price one they fit good
I just got the Kelly green in the small and medium. Small for “everyday” carry and the medium for gym/travel I can already see myself arriving to Puerto Rico with my green tote and silver Rimowa 😍
