In this channel, I make video reviews on older and newer electronics; including telephones, video games, and video game consoles. My main/gameplay channel is Master Jim 2020. If you like what you see, subscribe and like for more. Have a wonderful day.
@@djbrucebanner9882 I’m glad. Because this is a very neat cordless telephone. This is the 1st Gigaset phone (and even the 1st European-made phone) that I’ve ever had and I love it.
This video is awesome! I really appreciate your dedication to telephone ringing demonstrations. This is absolutely incredible. I will definitely put this on my favorites playlist. Thank you, Jim, really cool.
@@captainchris2016 I know, Dude. I thought about doing that on the AT&T handsets, since that set has the musical ringtones. (Ringtone 7 just happens to be my favorite ringtone on that phone.) I just haven’t set them to different ringtones yet. However, the VTech handsets don’t have the musical ringtones; but instead have a rather weird selection of ringtones that I don’t really care about. So Handset 1 is just left on the same ringtone as the base unit and Handset 2 is on Ringtone 5. (Which is the ringtone with the 2 beeps)
@@Classic_Electrics It’s a good answering machine. It’s the only 1 out of all of the phones I have in the house, that has an answering machine. Because all of the other phones don’t have 1 built in. It’s not a TRU series by any means, but I used to have that phone hooked up to the Base Phone line (which I call it the House Phone Line, since it’s for the majority of the house) until I switched over to the EL51303 after figuring out that Ooma has a voicemail system and that I can access it from my Desk Phone that way. So I at least still wanna use it for something.
Cool. Thanks for letting me know about your lines. I wish I could use an answering machine, but we have voicemail. Maybe you can find a good deal on a TRU soon.
@@hunterschober6421 Thanks, Man. That means a lot, being that this is my 1st initial checkout. And once I get a PBX set up, this phone is definitely gonna be a test phone that I’m gonna use. I’m very glad this phone comes in pink, because it is 1 of my favorite colors. If only it came in purple, like my purple pony on my other channel. That would’ve been something.
@@Warp2090 I figured out the time of the manufacturing of this phone, after the video was already recorded. And I wish I had seen this while on camera, but the box said 2021.
@@Classic_Electrics You should. My 1st landline phone as a kid in the 2000’s was this phone. This is not the exact phone I had back then, but this is the same model. Very reliable and very nostalgic.
@@JimsElectrics-w4q Thanks for letting me know! It should be on the way now; I can't wait for it. You're absolutely right, these old Unidens are very nostalgic and unbeatable quality. I believe my family had a Uniden 2.4GHz or early 5.8 system in the late 2000s, and I just recently found a picture from 2009 of me using it.
@@MLaaTRandStevenUniversefanboy That Dynex TV is the oldest TV in my house; with the newest TV being the Insignia TV that’s in the living room. It was manufactured in October of 2011, and I’ve had it ever since February of 2012 while I was in middle school. It still works fully; though the power button the side is a bit flaky. (but the button itself still works) And I had to go to Amazon and order a brand new remote. Because the buttons on the original remote don’t work anymore. Thankfully once I figured out the model number for the TV, finding a new remote was a very easy task to do. I do have a Roku plugged into it, since it’s the only TV in the house that doesn’t have streaming features built into it; like all the other TV’s in the house do. And even with the fact that I have TV’s that are much newer than this Dynex TV, I have found that there’s no reason to get rid of it; that is until it stops working beyond repair.
Was it really? I’m not big on horror movies whatsoever, other than the FNAF movie that came out last year. Plus since Ooma has a voicemail system and the fact that this phone has the VTech/AT&T musical ringtones, I gave it a shot and it’s 1 of my personal favorite house phones of all time.
