Those old condos on the water are under scrutiny d/t structures not being maintained. I wouldn't buy that. Too much risk of a collapse these days. But that's just me.

You are intelligent and did your due diligence on the situation- would you have won in the higher courts????Thats a good question...On the question of the "sign", I don't think that it is a coincidence. I believe it was a gift from God. in his word he says, "I know my plans for you, plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". So he has plans for you. You need to ask him what the plans are with the money, because he only leads you into more prosperity, provided you do with the money as He Wills. Usually what He Wills is to help others thru your hands because he knows he can count on you, and since you said you are willing to receive. The universe cannot give you this gift, because the universe is just part are His beautiful creation, he made all things. He hears the cry of the poor, and he puts charge over wealth to people who can do something about it...the question is WILL they do something about it or will they just do their own thing- which usually squanders the money away. I am generally really patient but I am concerned that these investors will continue to hold the market hostage for while. That's my concern. Rents are going up, prices are going up. I'd rather spend that much and at least own something instead of continuing to throw it into a lease.... Still debating it.
