I am Junko, professor of Ikenobo Ikebana. Over the past ten years or so, I have had the priviledge to teach Ikenobo Ikebana to more than 200 students, some of whom still study with me in pursuit of this life-long journey. The videos I am sharing here are a mix of some of my many Ikebana demonstrations and a growing library of tips and tricks that may help you in your arranging. Thank you. I have never heard of the bird, but thank you for the compliment. As for editing, I have to say, Keith would prefer no to edit at all! But he does very well at keeping the main elements, while also making the edited version short enough to keep our audience. Perhaps you can come to one of my demonstrations one day.
Sorry for late reply. Thank you for watching. Green are used when using green materials, particularly thin stems. Brown for woody stems. Silver can be used to insert in stems or, for stronger branches, eg, used to make a bend then taped over to hide them.
