I just received my mail order last week, which is roses, and the leaves are yellow near the vein center and are falling off. Should I fertilize the rose and plant it in the ground or use a pot container? It is turning chilly and will be in the 40's soon. I am in zone 5.
we are zones 9 and 10 experts but it sounds like you should plant and prune as soon as you can. Plant where you want it to live - roses are very resilient!

Even though this video is several years old, Mr. Russell appears to be an expert in his field. With covid and everything else going on ,it might be time to film another video with this gentleman to reassure landscapers and homeowners throughout Southern California
