It works great. Some people say that RF lenses may have a little snappier AF than EF but I haven't noticed it. Might have some truth to it for photos possibly but I mostly do video and haven't had any issues with the AF on my EF lenses.
Subscriptions need to end. Buy up front for reasonable price, and then small cost yearly upgrades for added features/file supports, etc is reasonable. But you should be able to run the the software from the initial purchase indefinitely without an internet connection. I like what Black Magic has done with Resolve.
There is a place for software as a service as well though. In the case of Polar Next there is an interesting situation that arises if let's say you only edit on average 10 photos or so per month. It would only cost you .50 cents per month to use it. Regarding Resolve I have to agree. It's one of the best editors out there if not the best, it's free and the studio version is reasonably priced.

So glad I saw this video, that’s insane! The autofocus was not that good when I had this camera in 2020. If I recall correctly it didn’t even have eye autofocus in video mode at the time. I think I am going to have to revisit it. Thank you for making this.
To single out the best travel cameras in 2024 suggests that they are better than last year's and will be superceded by those in 2025. My best travel camera is my 1950 Leica iiic. For me, it was the best then, and it will remain the best in 2025.

You really don't need many of the modern features in these newer cameras for street photography. Look at the Leica M11, no video and no auto focus but still top dollar.
This is a GREAT review. I’ve always loved my Canon pocket cameras. How about the Fujifilm x-m1? It’s APS-C without a low pass filter for awesome quality images. Stick on the cheap xc-15-45mm zoom (22-70mm equivalent) and you are on fire. It has a tilt screen too.

You have confirmed what I have been thinking, SmallRig RC120B + DA85 Parabolic Softbox. I have to say the quick assembly of the D85 is a great feature. Plus I have liked the other SmallRig products I have bought. Just need to re-arrange my room and sell my Elgato Key Lights.
So I really want a 24-70mm for my r10 but didnt want to spend the money for it to not be a true 24-70. So if I get the speed booster it will make it closer to that 24-70mm range?
