Best way to fight the boss, in my opinion. Im like 7 when i played the original, and i have no idea about the cricket/frog riddle... I just think it makes a crazy first impression for the first boss of the game
Me I prefer Tinker bell and choco keytblade long3st reach so I can hit him and get heal and most of his attacks are smaller then choco blade cause has the longest reach
I'll never forget that my sole motivation for beating Ansem was that my cousin said he had always lost. Had to prove I'm the better gamer. Mission accomplished.
"Wosoever, be he worth, shall haveth the power!!" THIS is why Kingdom Hearts doesn't need Bahamut. We got EXP Zero Mushu, a summon so busted that he had to be nerfed in the subsequent two games and one remake he appeared in, and then he never made a summon again.
KH1 Donald is actually really competent, KH2 and 3 he's harder to configure, and MUCH MUCH SQUISHIER, he dies or nearly dies a bunch which means he heals himself a bunch
Exp zero has a hidden buff (or bug, i'm not sure). After dealing an aerial finisher combo (the normal finisher, not Hurrican Blast), your next attack has the multiplier boost of a finisher. But as long as you don't attack an ennemy again, magic and summons have that effect too. So, you need to deal a full aerial combo and then stop using normal attacks. Then magic and summons have a huge increase in damage, and it's especially strong with Mushu.
@@gabouchar9977 If I recall correctly doing a level 1 run with no exp ability has a hidden mechanic buff. So literally a buff. That and Nomura made sure almost all KH games can be finished in a level 1 playthrough. Especially through no exp ability. The only exception I can think of is Re CoM/Chain of Memories. Where you're forced to level up. Then again I'm not sure how KH1 damage modifiers work. It has been a long time. All I know is No Exp and level 1 runs are buffed for the challenge.
@@kingdombladesventus I wasn't clear, but yes the buff was made on purpose. But I dont think that what is known has damage storage was intended. We can't know for sure, but I imagine that they didn't realise that doing magic or summon damage wouldn't "consume" the buff and could be exploited indefinitely. They probably wanted to just buff the next attack after a finisher to give you a bit more damage, not let you do something like this. The damage you can do with Mushu, for example, can't be intented I think. It's too powerful. Also, the fact that you can use this at any level is also probably an oversight and could be called a bug itself. This hidden ability should have been tied to being at level 1, not the ability, because then you can do what this video does here. Insane damage at any level.
@@gabouchar9977 Either way it's a helpful tip when I eventually get to do my future level 1 runs. And I was thinking long ago I should start it with KH1 for sure. Also thank you for your information. I appreciate it ~
@@gabouchar9977 So what actually is happening is that EXP Zero applies a Fixed Damage bonus to combo finishers, based on the World Level, this bonus however is only removed when you start another normal attack, so if you do a finisher and then use Magic or a Summon attack, those inherit the boost and well *waves at example* Death Your Honor Its only effective later on due to the World Level scaling however EXP Zero does not need you to be Lv1 for these bonuses
I forgot to put the badge on which turned this battle from entertaining to epic. Best part: Used the attack +2 Item, got merle's attack buff, used Power bounce and messed it up. Stil won though
cant wait for this to inspire a dream that i desperately try to recount to my friend when its the evening and ive just woken up, bedhead and unbrushed teeth, some days or years down the road
I have no idea how this managed to become even slightly well known enough for the guy at 0:19 to become an iconic YTP element, but whoever had this movie to implement him into YTPs, thank you for your sacrifice 😭
