Cool video 👍 Very nice Trucks and Crossovers , super cool El Camino😎💯, and beautiful Ranchero😍, the Studebaker is such a nice looking car and incredibly detailed for the price💯😎🏁Thanks for posting 😀
Awesome video 👍 Very cool Challenge 👌Nice collection of AMCs. That Hornet casting is really neat, the AMX looks great in the blue paint, those Madators are very nicely detailed. Cool buses at the end 🚍👍💯😎 Thanks for posting 😀
Yeah. AMC is still a bitter sweet topic. More so now with Stellantis gutting the company is every way. At least, my Jeep XJ is basically an AMC, with the 4.0 in line six. A Javelin would be on my list YES, the forgotten AM Generals. If not for the Humwvees nobdoy would even recall the name I think. I think every govt military contractor company made buses. Boeing, Northrop, Ratheon, Rockwell, and obvious Grumman we all know. They all made buses as test beds. Whats not known is a lot of the chassis and body construction (particularly the Northrop) were tests for manufacturing aircraft fuselage, materials testing. The Northrop bus was I think titanium alloys and carbon fiber, well before that was on every fake spoiler and Honda hood lol. Love the little bus nod at the end!
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 I used a dry eraser. You apply it heavy and wait a few minutes and remove it and apply again and work the market back and forth gently and the decals will resolve you keep cleaning off the surface so you can see where it s gone and where it's not. Once you get it all off take a wet cloth and clean up the surface good. White is much harder to remove a decal from I use a jelly roll to repair the paint if any comes off.
I just had the chance to sit down now. These are SO cool! The Delta, UA, AA double deckers are a complete mishmash of models, and to this day, I cant say what they are lol. I still have them in their boxes from when I bought them in the Duty Free section at JFK...early 90s I want to say. 2:29 The other AA bus looks like its an American Eagle AE-05? with the hidden tag axle (though Matchbox didnt include it. I didnt know they made it but its not a bad Eagle. Cute little bus! 1:30 The Majorette bus is awesome too. I had one, almost identical to that. Its split down the middle, the lower part is diecast, the top is plastic. Yours is all white. Mine was white on top like yours, but blue at the bottom, but was also an Air France. Mom bought it for me in 93, from Paris. I liked that it was the same scale as the typical cars Majorette made. Love it. 1:57 is VERY VERY interesting. The TWA bus, is a coach works bus based on the Mercedes O303 13R model from the late 80s early 90s. The body with the funky windows, is tough to tell, but I am 100 percent sure its a Swiss coach works model. So, most likely its a Saurer, though it could also be an FBW, Hess or NAW. They did a LOT of collaborative works (Hess NAW and ABB I believe merged, and still exist today making double articulated trolleybuses). FBW is long gone, and Saurer was bought out (I think my FBW?) Im not up to date on Swiss bus manufacturers these days, but that style is very Swiss for the era. I have a bunch of photos of these out in the wild back then. They made many one of a kind models, based on the O 303, usually the shorter variars like 9R up to 10R, 11R, and rarely 13Rs. All were lower deck models, so no high decks. All of them also had dayton wheels, which is odd for Europe, but the Swiss did their own thing (hence how they still operate double articulated buses) Who makes the TWA bus? That this is really special. Very unique and rare. Great video. I love these oddball ones lol. You knew Id have to write a novel too lol
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 Thank you! These brought back a lot of cool memories. I love these oddballs, and when I have some info, you know Ill share it!
Awesome video 👍 Super Cool Airport coach busses👌I have that Delta one, i have no idea where i picked it up from. I also have the British Airways version of the Matchbox Airport Coach. That Pan Am Econoline is absolutely gorgeous 😍. Thanks for posting 💯😎
You know, except for the Econoline, I can't remember where I got them from either. A couple were from a bucket of odds and ends that somebody gave me. I have a series of videos on that bucket. Thanks for the comment.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 You're very welcome 👍I went ahead and tagged you in the Matchbox bus short of the British Airways one👍. Hope you are having a great day 😀
Awesome video 👍Very cool collection of Caprice Police Cars, my best friend in HS parents had a burgundy 305 they bought at auction in Daytona Beach, it was the fire depts car, they got over 300k on it, they also had a Lt-1 from NY that was an ex-police car, but it only made it to 250k before they rebuilt it. Very underappreciated cars, but im a GM guy so i would say that. Lol 😂Thanks for showing these. 👍😎💯
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 I agree 👍 But that seems to be the case with most companies nowadays. Really miss Pontiac, Plymouth, Olds, and Mercury😕 no room for the middle guys anymore.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 Cool 87 was a great year 😎 We have lots of project cars we've been working on forever, including my Vette, and our new daily 97.5 Regal.
Good afternoon bro. Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Yes, diabetes is terrible. I just checking out your buses now very cool. I’ll be watching it for now and I give you thumbs up. Have a good day, brother.🎉
Awesome video 👍 Excellent picks for the challenge 👌 Very nice Camaros and Diplomats, congrats on the greenie🎉🎉The Trans-Am is one of my all-time favorite cars as well, my first car in 95 was a Silver 77 Trans-Am 400, that's the car that started it all for me. 💯😎 Totally cool video 👍 Thanks for sharing. 😀
Nice ones Joe. The cool air rolled in a couple of days ago. Yeee Haaa. I feel like i got air-conditioning now. 68 was the high inside my house today. It has been being 80 and above inside. Even at night.
Great line up of castings for the challenge! I wonder what is the range of those electric buses??? I drove an electric van for Walmart and on a good day I had 190 mile range…and degraded quickly depending on circumstances
Awesome People Movers Diecast Challenge reply Video 👍👍 Excellent Choices for the challenge 👌 You have some very nice customs, incredible transportation models. Thank You so much for making a reply to the challenge 💯😎
Hello Mr weather man. Finally some rain here. 3 days in a row. Imagine that !!!! Nice batch of cars my friend. I have that Grand Prix I haven't opened mine yet. It's put away for now. One day I hope to get all my castings opened and on display. 👍🏾😎
Three days in a row, I bet it cooled things down a bit. We had at least a shower every day last week. This morning a big Thunderboomer woke me around 5.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 well they were showers too with thunder heavy thunder on the first day. Wonderful cloud cover for 4 days. It's mostly sunny today ( Sunday ). Not quite so hot now but now that the rain is over each day forward will be warming back up.full throttle.
You did some great work on those busses, Joe ! Alzheimer's took my Mum about 15 years ago; it's a cruel disease. Hey, you retired after working on busses for 39 years..was that as a driver or mechanic? 👨🚒👍🇦🇺
They do not like to be called mechanics anymore. They are "technicians." 😁I was a driver or excuse me, operator, for ten years. Then zone supervisor for another ten, then lead field supervisor for the last 19 years. I also subbed at dispatch and lot manager at times. Thanks for the comment.
