Who knows with Lemons. They just said the car was too good. They didn't accept our value determination. They knew us from previous years races and knew we were good drivers and I assume they didn't want us to win first time out in this car.
+EurasianAuto Did you notice I passed Dan's red 944 and every lap passed Tim's orange 944 sitting in the grass. Maybe you should watch it a few times so you'll be prepared for being passed in February.
We went through several sets of brakes our first race at CMP + caliper fire on the SOB Golf. We've been running Hawk Blue pads since then for 5 years now and have had zero problems - they will last an entire weekend. I'd recommend giving them a shot along with a good brake fluid.
zigm89 Yeah, we should know better, we have run several races with another car. We just missed it in prep that we didn't have good brake pads and at the last minute had to use what was available locally. We finally got our hands on half way decent NAPA pad and made it all day Sunday by babying them. Good race by you guys, sorry you had trouble toward the end.
