I'm Elaine and my RU-vid channel is the home for my application tutorials, design tips and slide design makeovers.
You'll find videos showing you how to get the best from applications including Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Pixelmator, Acorn, and other useful utilities.
You'll also find videos showing how to create powerful slides for presentations in both PowerPoint and Keynote.
I also host a weekly live stream, MacBites After Hours where I share lots of tech related tips. I'm just a geek at heart and I can't wait to show you how much fun that can be!
If you have any requests for specific tutorials be sure to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.
I’m going to run out of superlatives to say how brilliant you are at educating us on the amazing world of affinity - thank you so, so much Elaine 🐼🐼👍👀😎
This is the kind of tutorial where I have to save a link. I'll never remember the steps. I love the way creating a symbol enables so much efficiency in editing. Thanks!
Whist I did not need the final document I really needed the lessons contained within this and your other tutorials. So many great ideas. Many thanks and glad to have you back uploading such valuable content.
I just want to say: Thank you! You don’t know how much I appreciate the clarity of your tutorials, the love you put in each video! Thank you thank you thank you! ❤
Oh gosh! Thank you so much, you are going to save me loads of time here. I can make my own stave! Flip those tables vertical and they are chord boxes. You rock Elaine 🤘🏼
Brilliant! I'm glad you showcased the symbols technique, as I last saw it done two years ago and had no idea why you did it! (I'm should say that I don't remember what you said about making symbols.) Studiolink is really a cool feature of the Affinity suite!
Hello Elaine, i love the way you teach. I'm absolutely a novice in this program. Yet I'm an enthusiast and love to learn new stuff. Your teaching has me hooked. ❤
This is good to know. I actually thought you were to create a nested data merge (not having known beforehand that such as thing is impossible.) Your method is sophisticated! Now that I understand that the layout tool cycles through your data, that opens up some neat possibilities, especially when you consider that images can be merged into fields!
