Nice job! Thank you for showing everything step by step. It looks like the floor isn't secured to the base pieces. Is this a safety issue in an accident?
I mix 60% witch hazel with 40% amber menthol mouthwash then use flannel rectangles as DIY wet wipes... refreshing, cleansing, and antibacterial (eliminates odors). Flannel pieces can be laundered in a Scrubba washing bag or added to regular laundry. I'm still sticks&bricks with a washing machine so I don't know how this would work out re having them damp for days... but you could probably use a single wash cloth and keep it rinsed and hung to dry?
Hi! Ive ordered twice from Weathertech for two different cars. I love them! I find if you put the top in place first they seem to stay better. My car is a GMC Terrain.
Great! Also I have the same tent and I'm also an artist AND I live in BC ! I'm just watching the video on how you set the tent up yourself. I'm older and not strong...lol!
sounds tough but you are adjusting. I've been watching a lot of videos of single women car camping and they (and you) all seem to have this strong sense of accomplishment for what you're doing. Kudos to you!
Thats me also i only do camping i recently went golf shores and i actually stayed in Planet fitness parking lot. The whole week. I was at the beach. I found a beach parking spot that was free. And then they said, I can park in the planet fitness all I want it to. I enjoyed it but im liie u i do 90% camping for because u can take all your stuff out turn your lights on to see there is no rush so i love camping but i stay at free camp sites wont pay lolol i did do one i paid for it was 12 bucks
I've never got a storage unit before either, but like you think it's a good idea as there just is no room in the vehicle. A temperature controlled one is worth the extra money, looks great!! Good items from Amazon, love having a fridge.
Well done with the platform, thanks for sharing in the group. With such a small vehicle it really frees up so much space removing the front passenger seat. Looking forward to your setup and travels as a fulltimer. I'm just getting ready myself in my 4Runner, hello from California.
Thank you for this video. I think I'm going to enjoy watching your progress, because I too have spent a lot of time "MANIFESTING" this scenario for myself. I'd say for most of my 55 year life this idea has rattled around in my head. I'm also glad you said you're on Vancouver Island; because it has such a mild climate. I could tell by the trees and your subtle accent that you were more Northern, but I was afraid you might be here in Minnesota or Iowa or Wisconsin or further north into Manitoba or Ontario, because people freeze to death in their cars here every year. Sorry to be so doom and gloom, but it's a real concern here where it can get so cold. Anyway, hello and thank you, and GOOD LUCK from a new subscriber.
@KeithA_VikingFan Thank you for your message. I appreciate hearing from others who are on this journey, or at least in the process of manifesting it. It's really a thing! And yes, Vancouver Island is definitely conducive to this lifestyle, particularly weather wise, but also community. Those are important considerations. I say, dream the dream, and feel the fear and just do it. Thanks so much for subscribing! 🥰 I have some new videos coming soon.
