My 1050 2gb lasted me from Oct 2018 to April 2024. I'm planning on using 4060ti for just as long. I don't play GPU-intensive games and I love the low power consumption.
Windows does these things to stop bot nets. The average user is incompetent. They have to make their security stuff as good as possible and easy to use for OS security. It’s why these days security experts recommend just using windows defender because compared to it other anti malware’s are malware
Not really, just bought a OLED after my original steam deck broke and checked out others again first, but reviews weren't great for a lot of non steam OS systems, now if others were also on steam OS and fully supported, also, we will be cooked when next gen consoles come out, not the more powerful ones
99%of games I play has no FPS cap only background FPS cap only exception in that being Minecraft having an FPS limiter and Diablo 4 those are my only games with an FPS limit on my laptop with a GTX 1060
I had AMD since the K6, then decided to go to Intel until the 4th gen, and then I went back to AMD and I’m not going back to Intel Like and Nvidia cards, I had loads of them in the past and I went to AMD and I won’t go back, call me AMD fanboy but I believe you get better at performance per pound But my PC is happily running R5 3600 with a FX 7600 XT
cable managament in the back is stupid. all it does is cause strain on the cables/plugs and make your life difficult when you need to install something. good luck cutting all the zip ties.
People will buy this and a 4090 and think it will make them better lol then get killed by someone with integrated graphics at 20fps on a half broken 720p office monitor.
What you described was every 3rd gen though. Every 2 gens is the same as every other gen, which would be the 1070 to the 3070. Every 3 would be the 1070 to the 4070 which is still reasonable. Also I thought the whole point of PC gaming was that you could upgrade but “don’t have to as frequently as a console”. If you’re using to replace the most expensive component in your system every 3-5 years and it costs as much as a new console, you’re not saving anything lol
I think it depends what card u buy, I mean look at the 1080ti it’s still very good. Also look at the 6800xt, that card is 4 years or almost 4 years old and still holds up for 1440p gaming.
I love the hate the 4060 gets when it plays games easy at max setting and good fps how is it not a mid range with the power of the cpu u don't need so much ram in the graphics card so 8 works easy and with out breaking the bank with alot of extra features I've been useing the 4060ti for over a month and I'm blown away
Theres alot more then that, i bought 2 asus products one time from them, after trying it once, didnt like it and returned it. They send me back a picture of the box and nothing it in. Long story short i told my bank and after months of back and forth, i got my money back. Im never going to spend money on asus products again.
I have and integrated 1060 in my laptop, and so far its going fine fornthe games i play, but ill upgrade once im able to build a pc myself, which ill probably slap a 4080 or 4090 is the 5000 series isnt available by then
