You think these guys have it bad try being a Snubber frac aint nothing i can't belive they made this video trying to look like heroes of the oilfeild lol they have more down time than any other service all those people in the video will be asleep in the Air conditioning five minutes after walking two steps if you want a job you can actually brag about become a Snubber
To all the frac guys out there in West Texas my hat off you guys no matter what company you work for. I drove water truck 2018 to 2020 and nothing like being around a frac at full horsepower. Hard work is a understatement for you guys.
This made me get a lump in my throat, i would love to be a part of a crew like that .... If the door ever opens ill jump through it head first but due to my geo location it isn't easy to get into oil field work
The majority don't do it for families, they do it for money, big trucks, being drunk and cheating on their wives while out of town. Frac'd for years and saw dozens and DOZENS of dudes cheating on wives and even have kids out of town. Pathetic.
I did this for years. My kids wanted to be in the oilfield. To do what i did. I showed them this video. Its dead on. They decided to go another route. This sepereate the men from the boys. Sacrifices dont come cheap. God bless all oilfield hands
Patterson and weatherford Did it for a short time it’s all the same money was good was put on the crew also was used as the on-site welder with no additional pay since I was the only one who came in with certifications from past welding jobs but not enough to be out away with no life the work was exaggerated in the beginning before I went in I worked similar conditions my entire life so doing this job wasn’t that bad it was the long hours and no social and the big headed ego coworkers where the worst that drove me out wasn’t worth it no amount they paid
Oilfield work isn't as fuckin' hard as they tell ya, MOST I'd of the time. Your life just goddamn sucks. How much and hour and time and a half is it worth for your life to suck?
Us casing guys finish a job and go like 3 more jobs and they can do the same go to another but just to put there shit and go to sleep but us casing we still have to work
I remember my first day like it was yesterday even though it was nearly 7 years ago. The first thing they said was “this sh*t ain’t for everyone. You’ll either be bit and won’t ever leave, or you won’t last more than a few days.” I spent 5 years fracin and I loved every minute of it. I’m still in the oilfield just come home every night… wife finally said it’s time to come home so I did but I couldn’t completely let go.. idk if I’ll ever be able to. I miss runnin my line or calling the job every single time I’m out there and hear the fleet fire up for a stage.. perfect depiction on the thoughts of a hand.
anybody remember the view of working overnight. working on the sandkings watching the sun coming up thinking life is awesome. and thankful we made it through another day. Our family was truly our crew.
I was a part of that group that month when we done all those stages! I was the wireline engineer out of Alice tx,my cousin dingo and wolf and rest of guys were great with the frac.man I miss those days when Weatherford was a competitive outfit!!
