The hostages are hypocriticals. They were gonna kill the hostages if HL interfered. Atleast HL tried to nto harm them. Even when he did, he didn't mean to.
the plant is leaking toxic chemical into the eco system that has killed many pepole .the terrorist's are local and its a safe bet that they have either lost family members or will loose family members . the employees will be aware and are complicit. hypothetically if i lost one of mine to that plant i would not be taking hostages . how about you ? lost your mother son brother because of cooperate greed ? would you be twiddling your thumbs and being all philosophical after your complaints fell on def ears?

These "heroes" do not value human life and suffer from mental disorders. So gradually people are taught to be beasts. What was previously embarrassing to show is now out in the open. Like shit from a pipe that burst. Violence, blood, murder and then sex... But the saddest thing is that they instill a loss of faith in ideals, in goodness, in pure love. As if they say: "Boy, the world is a cesspool, and you should be the same." But it's not, the world is the way we make it! We don't live in such a bad world, we don't experience hardship like people did centuries ago, and we don't appreciate it. We should teach people goodness, but they are deliberately brought up with such movies in evil. I apologize if I tire you with my outrage.
Homelander was completely in the right here. He tried to de-escalate the situation initially which they responded with gunfire with the intention to kill Homelander, even after this he calmly and swiftly disarms everyone. One of them continues to threaten to kill a hostage if he doesn’t back away and THEN Homelander finally uses lethal force on complete accident mind you. In my opinion he had the right to laser all the hostage-takers in self-defense the minute they started shooting as they were being a threat to everyone 💀
I like in the boys diabolical he doesn’t get some joy out of killing everyone and he try’s to save them but he has PTSD and that one time he accidentally lasered the gun and didn’t know it was gonna blow up

It's safe to say 70% of the fault goes to the terrorists: they knowingly resisted, shot at a super hero and threatened to kill the hostages even when they're weapons were neutralized; the rest is homelander's fault since his reaction was "a little bit disproportioned"
