It was an honor and pleasure to open the new pavilion for Salem, and we look forward to being back there on August 1. Love to Salem!! Big shout out to Larry Seaman for the footage!
Funny, my uncles always considered Mr. Carney the new guy, now he's considered one of the old timers. More importantly he was also the husband of one of the three Nancies who did so much for Salem schools back in the day.
"Made by the Edison Company," that's an ALBANY indestructible, most definitely mass-produced and not a unique recording. 🥱I know it's an old video but it's always good to get information correct.
From the outside front view that house just looks very dark and evil the same way I felt about the demon house from the front view of that porch and house, I can deal with a little lost ghost or a few bumps in the night but if shit starts happening like the movie poltergeist or the exorcist I am THEE fuck outta there at that moment and I’ll come back to get my belongings when I have at least 10 other people with me…
You guys might find this funny,,yesterday i went to bed early, early, i woke up at 11:30,thinking it was 5:30a.m(time to go to work),so ,i laid there watching videos without sound,i didn't want to wake my husband. THE KITCHEN IS ACROSS FROM MY BEDROOM, HOUSE IS ONLY 1,000SQ FEET,NO GARAGE, I LIVED OUT IN THE COUNTRY, REMOTE AREA,VERY QUIET,,AS I LAID THERE I CAN HEAR SOUNDS OF CHIP BAG BEING HANDLE,,THEN IT STOP,,I THOUGHT BAG FELL OVER, OR SLID,THEN IT STARTED UP AGAIN,,THEN I THOUGHT, OH NO!ITS A MOUSE!,I GENTLY WOKE MY HUSBAND ,TOLD HIM IN A WHISPERED, GET UP,WE HAVE A MOUSE,went to the kitchen, nothing at all,,my husband is a handy man,,he makes sure all holes are calked, because of spiders, scorpions, mice, rats are taken care of by 33 Country cats.I yell in the kitchen to tell whatever it was to go to sleep,,i have to go to work!!!
My dad drove us up all the way from Revere, Mass to get these chips in the early 1960s. They were fresh. I remember a big metal silvery shoot where the potato chips slide down and we bought them by the box. Talk about fresh. They were super tasty with an ice cold Coke. Never forgot them. We didn't have air conditioning in our car back then but we got around. Imagine driving 40 miles for chips. It was worth it. A box didn't cost a dollar. Fantastic. Memories of American goodness.
not buying it don't feel any negative vibes the house looks like an igloo and the warrens are/were Frauds and the lil girl got caught trying to knock a tv dwn so yes ppl a hoax for those o you who still swear and gloryfy this subect just want attention..
I remember his fearsome reputation as a fireballing reliever when he was with the Sox. He raises a good question: Why the hell did Boston trade him in ‘66?
As A kid i was friends with his sons and helped chip slag off the welds and painted and spent many trips on that boat. Capt .red was my hero as a kid he took all of us the the beach roller skating. And breakfast on Saturday's and he was on the radio a lot. O got many fon memory s of him and hanging out on the river.
I remember when he joined the red sox. I used to do body work on the cars for Ryan motor sales. Bought some brand new plymouths from Ryan. I believe Mike Ryan auto sales owner was his uncle. Sure brings back memories of my youth.
Brings back a lot of memories. My uncle lived on Brook St., too. In fact, Mr. Andrus, HHS principal, lived on Altamont St., not far from Brook St. And who could think of Hilldale & not picture the Pipes? Those were & probably are a major thoroughfare. There's also a ruins of a former bicycle race track, back when cycling was in its heyday, now covered largely in forest growth.
Way to go Det. Geha, good to see Mikey. I grew-up in Salem a thousand years ago, (Sherry Butt Dunham) just checking out the page and saw you. Keep up the good work Salem PD!
