Finally a proper demo of this amp. Other than I would love to hear you do a demo of it with humbuckers and different Drive pedals in the clean Channel. as well as maybe some delays in the effects Loop.
I've been on the edge of grabbing this one since it came out, and its predecessor the Studio before that. Great demo...and great playing as always. You might have convinced me!
The images on Eastwood's website have this with a black headstock and no binding on the neck. I'm a bit hesitant to order a guitar when I'm not sure what I'm getting. Would definitely be interested in getting this if they were a bit more clear on that. ETA: Apparently, it'll be like in the video with the matching headstock and binding, according to the rep I spoke to.
Interestingly, I think the Vinny sounds a bit more like a Fender Champ - which doesn't make a ton of sense, since it's an EL84 amp, while the Nathan Jr uses 6V6 (which is what the Champ uses).
Thank You for this inspiring demo - great sounds, great playing - Info and music well balanced ! I'm very close to buying the pedal - and I wonder: did it bother at any time, that the output is mono? THANKS again🙏
Between your demo and Fuzzed Drones demo, this pedal pretty much gold sold to me in an instant. Managed to pick this and an EAE Prismatic Wall together (as a treat) and they're arriving today, so I am looking real forward to it! Really appreciate your approach to doing demos!
The pro reverb doesn't seem to have as much of the classic fender clean sparkly tone as the deluxe does but the pro has a heavier bottom end bass tone ? I wish this demo would have also focused in on the bassman tone stack side of the deluxe and the fact that you can jumper the two channels on the deluxe. The deluxe has more tonal options due to the two different tone stacks on each channel. Thanks for the review :)
Can you adjust the tempo of the echo signals? It seems like turning up the "time" knob merely turns up the volume and feedback of the pre-drive echo and turning up the "space" knob turns up the volume and feedback of the post-drive echo. But I there any knob on this pedal that adjusts the actual tempo of the echo repeats? Doesn't look like it. Still sounds awesome! But being able to adjust the actual timing of the echo signals would be super helpful
I went down the fuzz rabbit hole. Came back alive. A big muff is good ( doesn't really matter which one) and a fuzz face style is really all you need. After that you'll hear no difference in a band context. My favorite fuzz is the f- bomb from sub decay. Also the fuzz factory from z-vex. Really all you need.
Nahhhh there are unique sounds to be had from every kind of fuzz circuit. Tonebender mk1 or mk2 , fuzz rite, super fuzz all do their own kind of thing. I will say that the fuzz factory covers a lot of ground, though.
