I wish they gave the SOHC J-Series V6 engines this type of i-VTEC in the 2010s. Only the 3.7L J series had dual vtec for the intake and exhaust valves and it didn't help fuel economy at all.
Looking for info on a Honda 1.8L R18A/R18Z Engine conn rod & main bearing code. Anyone have idea where it would be stamped on the block or maybe on main bearing bridle? I have a 07 Civic DX & am dropping in a 2010 1.8L due the OEM Manufacturing problem of Poor Casting Issues on the 2006-08 & early 2009"s Civics with 1.8L in them, which leads to leaking Coolant. I wanting to do a bearing roll-in before I drop in the 2010 1.8L engine into my car.
Literally night and day with that V-12 sound compared to all the other engines on the grid back then. So many straight-fours and V8's but then comes the RA272... unreal.

Just stumbled on this vid. I have a 2002 EXV6 coupe in San Marino Red. Less than 40k miles. I love it. Recently had timing belt & water pump changed, valves adjusted, etc. The trans had a leak which required dropping it to repair. All pricey work (@Honda dealer) but it drives better than ever. The mechanics loved working on it. It will hopefully outlive me. (I’m a sexagenarian.)
I had a 2010 2.2 diesel si from new. Kept it for 9 years and the only thing I changed on it apart from tyres, was 1 headlight bulb. Changed it for a new A class and when I went to pick the new car up was told a mercedes mechanic had bought my civic. Lovely engine that 2.2 ctdi. Mercedes has been great, but I test drove the new civic hybrid 2022 and it's brilliant. So impressed that I've ordered the sport in white. It drives fantastic. Well done Honda.
I just bought an NC750 DCT initially ir feels weird not shifting, but it ability to be in the right gear is smooth and almost flawless, in many cases better that my shifting would be. It's a vert nice bike.
I bought used a 2008 Civic Type-S 1,8 petrol at 2018, it is still my daily driver and was assembled there. Great fuel efficiency for the 140hp, good handling and most importantly it never breaks and requires little to no maintenance (mostly oil, filters and break pads). Swindon factory built great cars.
