@@Manonmann ok cool, because I bet the the honwave t32 with a 6 on it would match your wee rib in speed 😝 I would love a rib but can’t afford 1 right now! Anyway looks good I’m gonna give you a sub
Its a great inflatable Rib but impossible to buy one anywhere! I read somewhere that there are production problems and won't be avaulable until 2025? anyone got any information? Originally from Russia? maybe the Ukraine war is a factor? Who owns the patent? Are they produced in the UK? or in Asia?
There are so many in stock its wild, maybe not this brand but there are many other brands out there. YAM, HONWAVE, QUICKSILVER, NIMARINE, just to name view.
@SteadyPetesFPVquadracing Yes you can buy an inflatable of other brands, but there is no other collapsible RIB that I know of with a hard glassfibre hull that will fit in the back of a Vw Bus.I even considered a 270 Quicksilver Alu but it's about 20Cm too long when deflated.I ruled out towing a boat because of excessive ferry charges from UK to continental Europe.
I have no problem using the tool while I hold the line and fish up. Like someone mentioned this is not really designed to pull out fish, just to hold it safely while you unhook your lure.
Gorgeous place would love to go there and fish . I think you need to watch a bit of John from fishlocker here on you tube like your self likes to fish 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁🤞✌️ Ps try touching bottom with lure and give it slow ten winds in on real and touch bottom again . I think you will catch more 😊
The reason they’re floating is the way they’re getting put back mate. You need to hold them and dive bomb then head first into the water so they get a blast of oxygen on their gills and a kickstart swimming. 👍
Excellent video very nice Pollack, I've had some nice fish if that's the back of Douglas pier which I'm 99.9% sure it is, caught alot of species around there even caught a codling on the inner side which I hadnt seen in the years up there also huss mackerel conger I know people who have caught nice plaice n flounder and even tope around the corner marine drive, anyway I've got a short video just type isle of man wrasse and you'll see my biggest of the year top of scarlett a few weeks ago.
I don’t believe it’s supposed to be a net alternative, personally I just use mine to hold the fish while im trying to remove a hook that im scared is going to stick me 😂
Those are small callig. It's sad to see how the Irish sea has been fished out. In the 60 s and 70s most callig were in the 6 to 9lb range. Mackerel are few and far between as well. Irish sea is basically a closed system it's sad to see how fish stocks and sizes have collapsed in my life time
I use to work on a charter boat and we always fished around the kalf, excellent 🎣 even caught octopus on the Gemini when I was a nipper but it was the bonny ladd back then.
It’s my first SIB - the 6hp works well with mine once you get used to it. 2.7 gets a bit cramped and ideally I’d have a bigger one but then it’s heavy and not as portable. The boat make seems solid to be fair - no issues with it Get a leaf blower to inflate - so quicj
Cheers Jason - your tope wouldn’t even bother with a fish that small. You’d think I was pulling in a Marlin - I get lost in the moment. Can’t believe the fight they give though
