"Spielberg originally expressed lingering doubts about whether or not Silvestri was up to the task of writing a score as boisterous and thematic as necessary for Back to the Future. The composer's history with an orchestral ensemble, especially one pushing 100 members, was very limited. But when Silvestri was half finished with the score, Zemeckis switched out the temp material with it for a few scenes, Spielberg applauding what he thought was new temp music when in fact he had enthusiastically praised what Silvestri had written." Indeed, it's mind-blowingly creative and perfectly tight all around. Incredible.
Can we appreciate the fact that this has a level of sophistication on par with a 19th century symphonic composition? And it's a soundtrack to a movie, spliced & chopped throughout. It really goes all over the place. Amazing
The music in this game adds to the atmosphere so well. Walking around the seemingly abandoned campus with this playing is beautiful and haunting at the same time.
Imagine power armor from fallout how can it not run through walls? i mean its strong enough so when i play i use noclip to just rhun through walls to get at my enemys because why not its my idea amiright
One of the very few remakes I like better than the original. This version follows the story it's based on to the letter.John Carpenter and the entire crew and cast done a magnificent job. One of the best sc fi films ever made.Love Ennio Morricones score. Great performance by Kurt Russell as is the whole cast.
It bombed partly because people liked Spielberg's sentimental slush puppy direction of sci-fi instead. This movie & its great soundtrack are 2 sides of a work of genius.
One of the only sci fi horror movies that made my neck hair stand up, a reality check, somewhere in this universe beings like this may exist, enough to make one loose sleep!
This is probably the most terrifying song in the whole game. Hearing this while Joel calms Sarah down while chaos ensues outside. Makes you beg the question, where do you go? What do you do?
