God forbid if someone questions any of Jordan's "accomplishments" Man, Jordan was the face of the NBA. He started the whole solo face movement. So why wouldn't Stern make sure he won every award and eventually, championships. Its about money people. There is no such thing as the GOAT
Correct me if I'm wrong but when a Journalist makes an allegation, he/she is required to provide EVIDENCE, which in this case is the game footage. Eliminate emotion. Logic dictates that the ONLY way to conclusively prove that home stat inflation contributed to Jordan winning DPOY in 1987/88 is to complete the following 3 steps... 1) Analyse the game footage from ALL FORTY ONE of his home games in 1987/88....evaluate each steal and block on film and compare those findings to the official box score. 2) The process in step 1 then needs to be completed for each of the other DPOY candidates from that season, in order to prove that home stat inflation (if it occurred) was limited to one player. 3) The footage from ALL 41 home games, for ALL DPOY candidates, then needs to be made public for independent review. Haberstroh failed to complete ANY of the 3 steps laid out above, in fact he didn't even come close! Jordan played 41 home games in his DPOY season, Haberstroh analysed just 6 of those games (what about the other THIRTY FIVE!!). Since when is ANY investigation considered credible when 86% of the data in question is eliminated from analysis! Of the 6 games he claims he did analyse, 1 game was found online and has since been reviewed by several sources (ZERO evidence of stat inflation, the film matches the box score) and the other 5 games he sourced from Latvia on VHS tapes. Here's the kicker though...Haberstroh claims that there is evidence of home stat inflation in these 5 VHS games but how can his claims be verified if he doesn’t make the footage available to the public for independent review?!! We are expected to simply take his word on what he has observed on those tapes?? Ask yourself this…if he is so confident that the footage on those VHS tapes supports what he is alleging in his article, why hasn't he made that footage available to the public for independent verification? What kind of Journalist makes allegations without providing proof!!! All his article does prove is that the biggest majority of DPOY candidates in the 1987/88 season (and throughout NBA history) have recorded more steals and blocks at home than on the road and that Jordan's home steals and blocks in 1987/88 are marginally higher than the number of steals and blocks his fellow DPOY candidates recorded in their home stadiums. Establishing a disparity between home and road stats is NOT PROOF of home stat inflation, players generally perform better at home, that’s not unique to MJ and it’s not unique to one NBA Era...less back-to-back games, no travel, more rested, often more energised in front of a home crowd etc. BOTTOM LINE...Regardless of what your opinion is of Jordan, the ONLY way to prove that home stat inflation contributed to him winning the DPOY in 1987/88 is to complete the 3 steps laid out above. All roads lead back to VIDEO PROOF! PS... Haberstroh fails to mention the fact that there are multiple Statisticians present at every NBA Game from BOTH teams, there is role specialisation for different aspects of the game, there is cross-verification by both teams and officials, video reviews, quality control and post game reviews, and collaboration with officials...so you'll have to forgive me if I apply ZERO WEIGHT to unsubstantiated comments made on a Podcast, by a Statkeeper who worked for the Vancouver Grizzlies!
Stop it, you have no idea what you're talking about. There has not been a player as electrifying since the day MJ took the uniform off. And according to your own video this title should be John Stockton Stat Padding Explained.
I tell you who's accumulating *UNEARNED* stats *ALL THE TIME* instead of just one yr: Lebron James. Watch how he gets away with about 20 uncalled travels every game. About 30% of Lebron scoring comes off travelling.
MJ is the greatest but he also got very favourable calls. A criticism of Jordan shouldn’t immediately illicit such a pathetic jerk reaction to say Lebron also deserves criticism and then type it in bold. I’m old enough to remember Lew Alcindor. Then he became Kareem. Whether you like it or not basketball has different eras and to behave the way you do makes you no better than the old men telling me “Alcindor can’t play you should’ve seen Mikan”
None of you kids got to see Michael in flesh in his prime. that's why all these non-sense bull crap pops up every now and then. Lebron isn't as good as Larry Bird. You kids know nothing.
Lebron is better than larry bird comparatively. Stop it. I saw both play. Lebron in his prime was a more explosive and physically dominant version of Magic Johnson with less passing ability. In the years since I’d say he trails magic in playmaking ability slightly but makes up for it with almost every other metric. And I’ve got Magic Johnson above larry bird. And most people agree with me. You may not like lebron. We’re both old of course. But that doesn’t mean you can’t give credit where credit is due. Don’t call yourself a basketball fan if you’re so blatantly biased to the past.
@@Jearbearjenkins Most objective people do give James credit where it's due, most would agree that he was a great player in his prime but he is also the most overrated player in NBA history and should never have been anywhere near the GOAT conversation. His fundamentals are subpar, he has no mid-range game, he is an incredibly poor free throw shooter, his footwork is atrocious! His offensive skills are limited in terms of creating his own shot, he relies heavily on his size to barrel his way to the rim, very little creativity. His defense is inconsistent and mostly underwhelming, especially given his size. More often than not, he crumbles in big moments. Oh and he's also a turnover machine. Like I said, great in his prime (mainly due to his Athleticism) but extremely overrated. PS...Can you say any of the above about Larry Bird?
They literally just changed their jerseys a couple years ago. And there ain’t nothing wrong with an old logo, why do you think the ducks and kings are going back to their old logos?
Little Echoey! I want to see an actual “Punishment”. Also where are the chapters. Finally you should sling graphics or Time Clock on the TV behind Kyle

You know nothing about football if you did not know Luke Getsy is running a two tight end set and Brock played slot most of the time at Georgia. Brock even played wing back
Very short sighted video. Penix is the future for the Falcons and a great backup option while their division is awful and having an old QB coming off a serious injury, that’ll be a great mentor. Bowers was a top 3-5 talent in the draft that’s not a “typical” TE that’ll contribute immensely in the offensive game. You said they had big holes like QB and RB, which none were available/ worth taking at 13. Then you mentioned Oline which was actually a great unit for them last year, and they got one of the best Guards/Centres in the 2nd round. They got Minshew in the offseason and drafted an awesome Scat RB later in the draft, not to mention Zamir white played better than Josh Jacobs statically. There was a lot of other picks you should’ve mentioned…
Just like the Chiefs were "dumb" for trading up to get Mahomes when they had Smith coming off an almost MVP season. All these people bashing the pick don't understand.
@@Ryan-wx1bi Lets not say we are bashing the pick. I like Penix but it is a stupid move for Falcons. If they wanted Penix why sign an older/injured QB to over 40 mill a year? Also if Penix needs development why is he the oldest QB prospect in the draft?
@@codyb1909 Yeah and Pitts is doing all sorts of things in the NFL now. Another example of the Falcons bumbling up good talent. I personally wish my team the Broncos took Bowers one pick earlier than that trash Nix.
With Jay Cutler (Vandy All Timer) as your Career leader in Yds, TDs and Wins I think in this day and age they need to hit a home run. Also in a 5 QB 1st rd draft they have the number one pick.l plus number one last year with Stroud. Finally they passed on a possible comeback story in Justin Fields. If their guy is not a star they are doomed; especially the GM.
Coaching is a year to year rating but if you just have to pick and start over you need longevity and innovation. Daigs has some Innovation and this year and next will detail if he has longevity. For example Billy Donovan; took OKC to finals and always played well. Longevity also has multiple NCAA championships so he is good. But with Chicago he has gone down hes bottom now.
Kyle either does not watch basketball or does not know what he is talking about. spurs have the 6th best defense in the league when hes on the court and drop to the worst when hes off the court. Gobert doesnt even have close to as much an impact as that, he just plays on an all around defensive team. how you gonna put the best defender in the league in the 50s? stick to Fortnite buddy.
in the recent 15 games, his defensive impact is even better, when he is on the court they are almost the best defensive team in the league, while when he isn't they are dead in last. These guys have absolutely no grasp on the NBA right now.
Jimmy only averages 2.4 3's per game for his career so why would he shoot alot never has. hes actually shooting 44% on the year this year so that's better than career 32.7%.
Embiid - Lateral Meniscus injury not Labrum (Ja Morant) Don't hate the Players. Resting was started by the coaches and the Teams to save stars for playoffs. The NBA is trying to force them to benefit the fans that are coming to random daily games. The players now make the "financial" decision just like the coaches and Owners. Now they are being hurt as they could lose 40 ish million if they dont get All NBA / Awards.
There is a high pitch sound when Kyle is speaking. Also Korey’s video is trash. Good comments but I can’t go forward the dog is running bc of the dog whistle.
man idk but the white sox had a great team building and jus fell apart im stunned bcuz they were so young.... then last yr got rid of jose abreu to the astros of all teams and he goes to the world series i think 😂
Fix the audio especially if you are going to edit. How can O-Line be considered a position? There are 5 of them. Thats almost 50% of the offense. Also from a pay standpoint the Tackles at least are paid very heavily.
Post the format / document in notes for review. It was tough to understand the format as they kept agreeing. You have to support your comment vs bending all the time.
