I think it's either because jin graduated from high school before her at the very least or that jin is older than her seeing as I see it being stated she's going to Mishima polytechnical school, which is a high school.
Well let's say you got into a new work and there is someone who worked there before you but he is younger than you. You'd call him senpai because he has more experience than you.
Learn how to wind god fist, you dont even have to learn how to electric but practice the wgf motion, learn to wave dash, as soon as you enter heat dont just heat burst you can abust it because devil jin is insanely powerful in heat using unblockables may work at this level, but as soon as you hit atleast garyu its a lot harder because people will actually know what they are doing make sure your hellsweeping, it looks like literally no one is blocking low so just use hellsweeps and follow up with the shackle into 4, 2, 1+2. thats an easy like 40 damage just off of a low learning to wave dash as a mishima, espically devil jin is so important you have to learn. ff2 is a great heat engager, and most people in this level are not side stepping so you can just spam it as it is also safe on block and a mid. make sure your doing dvjs combo trials, or atleast a beginner combo youtube video. dont try and just always throw, a good throw as devil jin is his one that has a lot of inputs that you do a 180 on the dpad for. dont start the round off with power crush, it wont work in later ranks and itll develop a bad habit. korean back dashing isnt as important as it used to be but its still nice to know. at this level, 3, 1 into 2 will almost always connect if they are mashing, i still use it as a fujin. make sure you are mixing people up with lows and mids. even if some of these easier stratagies are working in these lower ranks, it makes horrible habits for later on. you are playing a MISHIMA, not a bryan or victor, he requires inputs to be at his peak, so make sure to practice in practice mode. also practice left side, i wish i did that earlier. but overall your pretty good for a destroyer, just keep learning more and more.
