Had met a Division Chief in Bermuda back in 2005...he was frustrated there were no good books in the lobby of the Pompano Beach Club we were staying at. I had a good one for him. Jokingly:, I said, "In return, I want you to hook me up on a ride-a-long in the City." About a month later, the phone rings at home...it was him. He'd done it! I rode out of this house for the weekend...awesome!
That looks like a lot of injuries and incidents! Rough day for emergency services in pretty bad weather. I like the Mercedes GLB! First time I see it in police service in any country, that's cool. They are quite reasonably priced for Mercedes, reminds me previous generation of B-Class which also had good price for Mercedes.

I live in the middle of nowere vermont and i never can help but to watch emergency vehicles when i see them because you dont see em ofton but i love how people are so used to em in NYC they donr even bat an eye
Greeks and Italians are unique in a sense: in Italians' case, they're all ghetto but the more south you go the more their police siren is less for cartoon-like display. It's more like the all-American siren. Same goes for the Nuyorican lands. Croatians are like northern Italians in that they too have the artsy cartoon-like police siren style. I'm referring to the 2nd one shown. That's very musical. Greece is far more immersed into the southern world. They have the cool-sounding American-like import-like sirens. But only the French are pussies with their sirens. That siren they are known for. That people show in the movies. Only France. Not even England and Germany, and yes I'm aware they use it sometimes but nothing like Francophone world (I gotta wonder just to what underhanded lengths they went to spread French language and culture; they inflicted suffering on Corsica; they tried to do it to Italy, but weren't successful, they tried to do it to Germany, weren't successful, they did it to sub-Saharia, so much that some of the countries they had still cling to French; not that Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Israel and Russia were the types to not do it, but there's a certain nasally underhandedness to the French that makes me prefer the others in comparison). Spaniards are not Hispanic (and yes I mean the stupid faux-definition when I say Hispanic as well; "You can be white and Hispanic" idiots; usually these morons talk with a borderline Latin English accent and say "puta blanco" as though they're not white; they're downright deny it's racial, but they are; if theyr'e not the ones to downright talk about whites directly as though they're not white; that faux-definition is just a cover for the "non-white, Hispanic, Latin with Latin English accent" type definition of Hispanic) whatsover. A good example of the faux-definiiton is some of these morons, who happen to be Spaniard, living in Arizona, New Mexico, even parts of northern Florda (after all northern Florida was part of Spain too).
The second is definitely the Italian siren. Denmark uses American sirens. They love American culture partially Northeast Yankee, Allied, Nordicist "Friends"-wastching "Seinfeld"-hating. But being the assholes they were I'd imagine some Danish places use the 1920s police siren. Same with Spain (which yes is white with Penelope Cruz English accents). Nuyoricans and Italians arre non-white, Hispanic, Latin with Latin English accents. Denmark I'm sure has their own of the artsy cartoon-like siren too That one that people think of is only in one country - France (and they're the only country with compact cars; Germany does have them, just to lesser extent; I don't even like the term Napoleon Complex; it implies that Napoleon had such an attitude; he wasn't French he was really Italian, indirectly via Corsician). Yes Germany and England use it but far less. Italy is "bigger and better." All of the Old World really is :) They love SUVs (it's a showy, popular family vehicle).
