Hello friends: We have created this channel to help students in understanding the electrical and electronics concepts in most simplified and interesting way. We are also uploading motivational videos to help all to stay motivated.
On calculator you can add polar number with rectangular number directly. If you want to do manually then first convert the polar form to rectangular. Then after addition convert the answer back to polar. You will get the magnitude and angle in polar form.
Once we determine ABCD parameters we can determine the sending end parameters like voltage, current, power factor. Also we can calculate the transmission efficiency and voltage regulation of line.
Ok, however, the 30 degree derivation is incorrect, since it is not true that the diagonal of a parallelogram bisects the angle. The 30 degree angle is derived by the fact that when you draw a diagonal of a parallelogram with adjacent sides of equal length, the angles opposite each side must be congruent. The triangle formed by drawing the diagonal already has one 120 degree angle, and the total of all angles of a triangle must be 180 degrees. So (180 - 120) / 2 = 30 degrees.
Thanks for the comment. Total 7 videos are uploaded in this series till date. Do check the playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLLXEmCp2Mx203Snm2ZAxr-khV8J6vohwK&si=XLLc_pmodhjC2U-o. Stay tuned.
Is = Ir for short transmission line only in all cases. Reason: For short line , line shunt capacitance is not present due to small voltage and small length. Hence the receiving end current will be same as sending end current. Hope you understand.
Glad to hear that. In case of unequal level of supports: If the height of both towers is increased/decreased by same amount then the sag will remain unchanged.
