Is a good technic,only if shaft and propeller are just new...but after months of work...i don't know...perhaps needs a hammer...the wrong via for this job,but the only one...
When removing the coupling, rather than letting it fly out so fast which could damage the jack piston, one can buffer the force with which the coupling comes out through using the hydraulic jack itself as a buffer. This is how to do it. Leave the filled jack face touching the coupling face and open the venting hole or open the valve on the hydraulic pump so that the fluid oil will return to the hydraulic pump without much resistance. Pump up the coupling and as soon as the coupling is released from the shaft face, it will move back buffered by the oil returning to the pump or bleeding from the vent hole into a container which should be well covered and protected as oil would spray out.
When Take out the coupling or propeller , why do you make gap 5 mm for mechanical stopper. It will be chance to impact and damage the piston of hyd nut, just extend hyd nut piston more than 5 mm with no any gap hold pressure on the low pressure pump and start high pressure pump till oil drop then then slowly release of low pressure pump. the coupling/ propeller will dismount more gentle.
