I really appreciated the old pic of the old roundhouse, Leeds Commercials van hire, my late dad worked there for 30 plus years as yard manager, as kids on Sundays we'd take our bikes & ride around the yard & building while our dad moved some vehicles around, very nostalgic.
I used to walk to and from Crossgates to Corpus Christi high school in the 1980s and pocket the bus fare that my mum had given me so these places are very familiar. Chippy[s DIY stands out in particular, not sure why.

I have a bit of a visual thing sometimes but its rare. Hall ith Wood, Quarry Bank Mill, the attic of an old three storey Victorian house I used to live in. Been to Haworth but sensed nothing. Really enjoyed the day regardless, so much history.
Used to work opposite Heatons' clothing factory. We used to ring up and make dates with the girls in the admin section. The switchboard operator was very understanding. I worked at a grain merchants'office on the third floor, and we used to drop beans on passing girls. They always blamed the pigeons.
Did someone also notice the two little girls far right at window, both are dressed in black while cuddling dolls, they are holding each other. Beside the girl is a big black dog looking menacing directly at the window, scary...
Who remembers the garage in the middle of the roundabout at the bottom of the Headrow,,ps Lewis ,s department store did the best roast ham of the bone ,2 rounds after getting home from the match👍😀
