Sadly no. I built it before I had my channel It is a modification of a band saw built by Mathias Wandel. Check out his channel. Mine is just a bigger version.
I have one and use it all the time. Yes doing math is quick but, the application of it is what takes up time. I had the same argument with the master craftsmen who taught me years ago. Once you do the math you still need to do the marks on the floor ( or wherever) they beat me every time by using this method. Sure, I had the solution to the layout 1st, either on paper or in my head, but they had it marked out before I did. I have since challenged others to the same race and beat them every time using dividers. Use what works for you but if we ever had the chance, I would love to race you for a chance to have you buy the next round. Thanks for the comment.
@@brucesturtevantwoodworking I used the trammel method for years. These days I use BuildCalc for baluster layout. I couldn’t imagine you beating my time using trammels

I've tried several and once I found this one it solved all the other issues I had with the other aprons. I'm sure you'll enjoy this one. Little pricey but definitely worth it. Maybe the last one you ever buy.
Doing the math is faster but not over a longer span. If you have a 10 ft span, for example and are off in your marks by even 1/32" that adds up to 3.75" over 10'! Now you have to go back and fix that error. So yes I agree that you can be more accurate with math but when you have longer lengths to do this is a faster way to get it done.
@brucesturtevantwoodworking distance divided by wishful space. Round up or down. Divide distance by rounded number. Divide distance by answer.... press + then = , =, = and so on. Will come out perfect every time. I do like your trick too
Sorry I misspoke. I have purchased aprons from Amazon but I then found the one I'm using now from Atlas46. It is awesome. I believe that Ron Paulk also wears this apron. They have other products as well but this apron is awesome! Hope that helps.
@@brucesturtevantwoodworking awesome, thanks. I've been looking for an apron for trim work and finishing. I liked the look and features of yours. I'll check it out. Thanks for the reply.
Yes one path! Actually, a full set up only takes an hour. Most of the time we only need to do one or two heads. The others are usually just straight knives. S4S then your profile. Totally worth it.
@@brucesturtevantwoodworking that’s freaking awesome. I’ve never seen one like that. I work off just a single blade. Pass by pass lowering and hoping to take the most without it exploding on me haha. That’s Awesome though. Thanks for sharing
