You probably need to clean the filter, remove it and rinse it with a soft stream. You can probably get a filter cleaning solution from Lowe’s or Home Depot. If that’s not the issue then you might be better off getting a new one if it turns out you need to spend as much as one unit costs in order to repair it. I would say just perform proper maintenance, if it doesn’t help, you might be better off getting a new one. If you’ve had this unit since 2015, I wonder how many times maintenance has been done on it. That nine years, at least 3 to 4 times every though it Should be done at least once a year. Otherwise all debri will start to get on internal components. I would say you got good use out of it.
@chalostraps yah we've got some good use out of it it still works pretty good the baring are going on the fan motor but it still runs fine it usually does that when the temperature is met this replaced a 70s ge I think the compreser went on that on but other then that it runs pretty good
Hey, I lost the nut that connects the fan with motor. If possible can you provide me the size of the nut you are holding. That might be written somewhere over the nut. Or some close shot pictures of the nut will do the job too. Thanks.
If a fan can oscillate left to right then it's junk because the gearing will always go bad eventually which means the gearing can become obnoxiously loud. When I say gearing what I mean what makes it oscillate, if you pull or push the plunger that disables the gearing, the clutch wears out over time and then the fan makes more noise that's arguably worse than what the blades produce when pushing air or worse than the actual motor.

Yah I'm not too sure about the high sense units but I've been hearing really good things about the midea u shaped units when the weather gets warmer here me and my friend comes back down here I'm going to take a good look at my Frigidaire so I'll keep you posted on that but thanks for the info I appreciate it I definitely need to get my knowledge back up on this
