Made this and it was good !!!! Ever since I moved I’ve been missing Hawaiian bbq I’m not close to any bqq places anymore !!!!! So this was great. I cut it too thin though :/ well I will cut it thicker next time.

Absolutely! If you don't have Portuguese Sausage a great alternative is more bacon (lol), or alternative trying Char Siu or lap cheong. Lap Cheong is much fattier though, so I personally would say more bacon or Char Siu! :)
I mean, I'm sure they're similar to lays BAKED potato chips, But you should have friend them if you wanted them to be like regular chips. Nice thought.
unable to find "2 tbsp of a Strong Desire to not Waste Money" at the grocery store. Spent too much money. Jokes aside, I think this is awesome. I am going to experiment with small batch cooking in the air fryer them as I cook for one. I wonder how long they keep. Lastly, i will try to make mine Salt and Vinegar as I am apparently a weirdo according to my friends. EDIT: I'm no sound expert but I think you should get a shotgun mic. Directional capture for the crunch and makes it a good voice over mic too.

Black bean paste is hard to substitute in this case. However, if you are unable to find it in store or online, you might be able to get a similar, but not identical flavor using potentially a mix of hoisin sauce with Chinese black vinegar. Hope this helps, but Black bean paste is highly recommended.
Not too sweet!!!! The amount of white and brown sugar put in was over kill. I will be using this recipe but making it much healthier by substituting sugar for medjool dates ground and date sugar. Certainly won’t be using canola oil, will be using ghee which will give a creamier taste. For frosting will be using half mascarpone cheese and half full fat cream added once both are separately are at the right texture and consistency. Also I will also be adding walnuts to the carrot mix as well as on the frosting. Much healthier.😊
