However, I'v just notice recently, textures pack from New Vision and Helios Texture Overhaul are not supported by the D3D9DrvRTX (the dll aren't capable to support dds files). Did you change those 2 lines in the Deusex.ini ? GameRenderDevice=D3D9DrvRTX.D3D9RenderDevice Render=D3D9DrvRTX.D3D9Render
i have a question... is qUINT_ssr is the only shader that can create TRACING/REFLECTION of the object on the floor ? bc when i'm using RTGI only on GOW2 RPCS3, its only create lighting reflection of my blade on the floor.. not the object like qUINT_ssr do. bc i have problem with qUINT_ssr.. when i enabled it, its showing weird outline around the object.
I'm not an expert regarding reshade. But yes, qUINT_SSR is the only shader that create reflection. RTGI is more about light. (GI for Global Illumination).

Merci pour cet upload. J'ai toujours aimé X-Wing Alliance et particulièrement cette intro. Reprendre la scène du canon à Ions de Hoth et l'étoffer un peu, c'était une idée géniale. Quel dommage que les personnages de Thomas Azzameen et ses enfants n'aient pas été utilisés par la suite. Comme Kyle Katarn d'ailleurs.
No disrespect but, the ray tracing looks unfitting IMO. Not every surface should look like it has a mirror polish and despite having improved models for things the level geometry is the same and not detailed enough to scatter light realistically. it ends up ruining any detail the texture work is trying to convey by scattering light across a flat surface and showing just how flat everything is. it ends up looking like painted plastic boxes. its a neat idea/tech demo tho
Yes, you are totally right. However, It gives the game a more modern look. And the result is really cool on indoors level like Nar Shadaa deespite the lack of Normal Maps / BPR textures. I don't know if RTGI of ReShade can be setup properly to tell which texture or material can have reflexion and not.
hello there. Ive been playing this mod for a few days and having a great time. Im assuming that I need ReShade RTGI because my graphics do not look as shiny as this. where is it available from please ?

You need to download xwa upgrade there www.xwaupgrade.com. During the setup, you will be prompt with multiple options to choose from like "enable/disable HUD for cockpit", "use laser effect from Battlefront 2", etc....
@@MetalDestroyer77 hi there! Sorry, but in babu friks configurator there ist no option to disable the hud. I can only switch between hud in-/visible on startup. Btw, i use the newest version of xwau: the xwau 2020 mega update. Can you please explain to me where i can find that option exactly? Thanks! 🙂
@@Schnappatmer0815 In the Babu Frik Configurator, select "Customize the Special Effect", then select "Customize the Special Effect" again in the Sepcial Effects by Blue Max section. There you will find options for : Dynamic Cockpit option (keep to default), HUD Option (check HUD invisible), Wireframe in the MFD (set to Active if you want to have the same render of target like the movie). Apply then launch the game and enjoy ! :)

Yes, I failed the mission since the rescue percentage is stuck. All objectives must be completed (green). If there is at least one active objective (yellow) and you decide to end the mission, you fail.
@@MetalDestroyer77 That is interesting. I must have played this mission a hundred times as a kid (partly to try and save Tomaas and Galen) and other than getting destroyed I’ve never failed it and I thought that was built in to the mission. Emmon is invulnerable for example.
Hello, I have a small problem with xwing alliance vr, it works very well, but the problem is that the image shakes too much when I have the misfortune to move my head even a little bit, I really have to turn my head very slowly, the game is very fluid on this side I have no problem, when I see your video the image does not seem to shake, will you have a solution offered to me thank you.
This video was captured from an old build of Effects by BlueMax and I was on HTC Vive (2016). I didn't change anything except perhaps add some super sampling in SteamVR. Now, when I play with my HTC Vive Cosmos Elite, I think, the game is not as stable as this.
Love this game, I know its in Open beta, but the interface is easy to learn, and the control isnt cluttered and confusing. Best 24.00 I ever spent, Looking forward to more content.
I'm running the game with a Intel i7 9700k, 32 GB Ram, Win 10, GTX 1080 with the original HTC Vive (2016). Since this video, there is a beta version of "Effects by BlueMax" where there are much improvement in the framerate. Didn't try it yet.
Not sure if it is from "Rebel Dynamic Cockpits Version 2.1" or the one in "Effects by Blue Max's Version 1.1.3.2". Both are downloadable here xwaupgrade.com
