This simple video is loaded with critical swing wisdom. As usual, Gav has taken the time to make the complex simple- which only the most experienced teachers know how to do. Short, clear and priceless.
Hey man … these beasts are not meant to be ridden. You can lose your life or become badly injured for the rest of your life. Leave them be and remain safe
Excellent conversation--so critical to think of the horse first--the balance, the whither clearance, 18th rib, elastic belt issues etc. Absolutely brilliant and looking forward to new saddle ;)
These are so great for viewers too and people still unable to ride horses yet. It helps us appreciate how much passion sacrifice and blood the players put into the game! thanks so much🤩
Gav is so cool! Thanks for this Polo channel, it really helps the "noobs" try to understand, especially the people who cannot ride horses and are still afraid of them.
I’ve only just discovered this series of videos. They are amazing -it’s so rare to find detailed polo advice/technique online. Thank you very much for all of the work that has gone into producing these!
My daughter and I have played learning chukkers against one another. We both learned riding together. On the other hand, my wife and son are afraid of horses and riding. So it's not a sport for the whole family for us.
Thank you. I found myself in this situation many times. A little bit ahead of the pack and waiting for the pass. But my teammate had his/her hands full just trying to keep possession and fending off the defenders that more often than not, I didn't get the pass. I had certain team mates that would and could pass the ball ahead to me. So I'm always torn between waiting for the pass or circling to the back of the line. We're all relative beginners and still learning. We played mostly arena but also some grass.
