Omg girl… I’m so glad I found you. My hair is very thick and I have such a problem washing it. I need a referral for a shampoo that would work for me. But currently my hair is straight and I wanted to try this style without setting it. I can’t wait to get these products and try it. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Do the corn rows first, braid about 3 inches off the head and gauge how you like the scalp before there's no turning back! Lol. Nothing worse than settling for something you don't like and sitting in the middle of the night changing the whole thing including the 3feet of braiding off the head.
Please don't use that! I had one of those cause "why go to the salon if you can do it yourself? It completely ruined my hair. Every time I used it my hair looked beautiful , but it ended up damaging the ends and the more I used it the more it split, eventually I chopped off my hair above the shoulders, and stopped using that tool. I now have long healthy hair. Just keep them in braids and protective styles
Only for me to research and found out it's hot pressed perm kernel oil missed with another oil that easily solidifies..... y'all can really hype things
Wire mesh rollers are my favorites! These are the rollers of my childhood. I used to set my mommy’s hair after she’d wash and I was learning how to do/style hair. I just bought some rollers so I can get away from my gel wash and gos for a while. Bring back old school. I am here for it!
Starting at the root is actually a good idea since spilts go up the strand of hair. It can leave you with some shorter pieces and you want to clip those too. That’s why some hair doesn’t grow, because some people only clip straight across.
