something that I now know as a teacher, that I didn’t understand my first year. The pacing set forth by the district is a guide, a roadmap…not the Bible. My first year, i followed the pacing guide with fidelity even if my students were not ready to move on.
🎉🎉🎉Yay! I just saw my cash app come in a few minutes ago. My phone is tripping with accepting the cash. But I did press the accept button. Thanks again sweetheart. And I got accepted into the Teacher's Program. I start classes on Monday. Enjoy your Summer.🥰❤

Hey, yes so they were the reading, writing, and math Praxis ! They have changed the numbers to the test now, but it’s basically a basic skills test for teachers
No problem, thanks for watching! I usually switch the skills 2 to 3 times per month depending on the group. Some of my students can master things in a week but for other students, they may need more time
I’ve thought educating is not done because of the job, but because of your passion to share your knowledge to the younger children. Tutoring has been so much fun and enjoyable, making sure that the child I teach does not only learn about the subject but also acquire good manners. 🤍
Aww thank you so much for the chance to participate this means a lot to me. Oh dear I loved the teacher’s appreciation week, their sacrifice and their effort to educate us is priceless. The patience and discipline I learned from them as well, nothing can ever be exchanged for that. Much love hun 🤍🤍 $ theundeadninja
Hi I always wanted to teach to make a difference in its just one child's life to let them know that they can shine. I have been substituting a little here and there. I just got accepted into the Alternate Route Teacher's program as of yesterday🎉🎉🎉. Congratulations on another great year down.❤ $KayhFord69
Congratulations on your getting your master's degree, your hard work has paid off I graduate collage next year 2025 with my undergrad in business my goal after graduation is apply for graduate school and get my master's degree in data science or management, I haven't made mind up which one I want to do yet. but after watching your vlog it taught me if you can do it then I can do it too. since being collage has made me stronger than ever, I can do anything I just have to have faith in God in myself and trust god process. you should go for your doctoral degree in elementary education you do it just trust God and have faith.
Yayyy i’m so happy for you as well! Finishing this milestone is definitely by the grace of God, and he will definitely give you the strength to finish as well! I’m glad that you’re keeping your options open because there’s so much opportunities out there you have to just go for it !! Thanks for watching and keep me updated on how your journey is going 🫶🏽
@@teachingwithtenia yes since being in college I have realized that being school has opened my eyes to a lot of things and opportunities this why I want to go to grad school so I can get a really good job. what advice do have for me wanting to go grad school?
Congratulations 🎊 ❤!!! This was so inspiring. Im extremely proud of you. I start my masters program in teaching and learning online starting in August. Watching this gave me the motivation to get it done.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH 🥰 I truly appreciate it! Can you, your masters and teaching is going to be so fine, but definitely hard! I know you can definitely get through it as well!!
I just found your channel, and I’m so glad I did. As a new substitute teacher considering getting my teaching license eventually, it’s wonderful to finally see some positive content on RU-vid about teaching since there is so much negativity out there! And as a mother of four kids, it’s wonderful to see how passionate you are about your students. You’re the kind of teacher I wish all my kids always had! I’m in my late 40s and never thought I would want to be a teacher until very recently. I realized I was feeling bored, lonely and depressed in my work-from-home virtual job. Although that kind of job sounds like a dream to a lot of burned-out teachers, the grass isn’t always greener! I wanted to do something more meaningful. I love kids and thought it would be so rewarding to work with them. I just recently started subbing, and the wonderful conversations I’ve been having and connections I’ve been making with the kids are really making me feel like I’m being called toward a teaching career. I’m planning to keep subbing next school year and then decide at the end of the year whether to pursue my license. I would say my “why” is because I want to make a positive difference, however small, in a child’s life. There is really no greater honor and nothing more fulfilling than that. For so many kids, just to know that a kind-hearted adult cares about them, believes in them, and wants the best for them is an incredible gift with the potential to change the course of their lives. Thank you for all you do for your students!!
Thank you so much, this definitely means a lot to me!! I appreciate you answering the call to become a teacher in a matter how old you are the insight and perspective you bring to the classroom will be priceless❤️ knowing your why will definitely ground you on the hard days but seeing your students be successful is absolutely priceless!! Thank you so much for watching and sharing.🫶🏽 keep me updated on your journey as well!!
Wow...that is awesome that you had taken the opportunity to do self-care vacation style. You mentioned that you are a "water baby", there is something about water that is so relaxing and stress relieving definitely. I've been to Punta Cana some years ago. The Resort where you guys stayed is beautiful. Can you share the name of the Resort?
Hey, thanks for watching! Yes, being by water absolutely relaxes me and the resort we stayed at was the Royalton splash in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 the food was not the best, but the vibes and relaxation was definitely a point☺️

Whew chile. I'm a new subbie. I like your positive and humble spirit. I am trying to get into an alternative teacher residency program for Elementary Education for starters this summer at age 54. I've put this off for too long. I'm going to try when my brain is bout dead.😮 Help me Lord. Pray for me
Heyy you got this, I appreciate that so much!! God created us to be lifelong learners, and you’re more than capable he will be with you along the way! I would definitely be praying for you🤍
Notes (using this comment to learn from the vid) - lesson planning can be hard, but you will get through it - you learn a lot : math and even teaching elementary school lvl math - education majors have a packed schedule - testing for praxis core is a test you will need to take
