While the technical level of today's players is off the chart, the ability to tackle and defend and challenge players when they have the ball has fallen off big time since the 80s/90s. But I can say that about the game around the world.

Level doesn’t look “better” when some of the teams come over to play GA Cup. Crew beat Man U last year….not sure Chelsea and Arsenal made it out of the group stages 😂😂
