2:18 Yes. Its a bad, space inneficient and power inneficient gas flare. (I still don't know why you used 2 of them instead of rush crafting a flare and batch crafting everything before it.) Also, grabbers are slow AND buggy. Whitelist everything you want, always. Edit: Why mid steam turbine when you can use the Industrial Steam Turbine? Its a bit more expensive, but much more efficient.
The wood-burning generators burn liquids and gasses at 50% efficiency, while the flare stack burns gasses at 20% and liquids at 10%. The grabbers are fast enough, but indeed buggy. The only reason I made that steam turbine is because it is one block big and I don't need more efficiency or throughput. I want to rush as little as possible in this, because it is just more fun that way, even if it is inefficient.
@@StainedSteel Makes sense. I just think that while progressing slowly can be fun in its own way, that rushing into better ore/energy production helps to not suffer so much when crafting or producing things. Ntm can be quite infuriating sometimes (>60%).
Nice video, Im late once again :< Im not sure but you might be able to bonemeal the plants. Also for the lab with the dud you can use dwaren pickaxe on a nearby block with AoE to mine uber concrete quickly.

In reference to the problem you had with the inserter, I had the same exact issue making a tree -> wood oil farm. As far as I can tell, conveyor inserters and similar blocks will just have a random chance of completely breaking whenever the chunk is loaded. I recommend using a chunk loader on the area to keep it from happening.

I'm late I guess but you can use flux powder thingy for steel (you will get even more steel from 1 iron ore) which is fairly early-game (haha like mid-game, but early, it sounds weird though) Also I'm pretty sure that starmetal no longer spawns in meteors And cool vid, I like the minimalistic editing
You use the survey scanner for bedrock ore, normal oil and schist. For bedrock oil you have to find oily dirt or oily sand on the surface and dig straight down.
Video editing brings me to old days when i watched some 1.12.2 playthrough, which has same kind of editing style: less boring moments(mining, walking for nothing) and more cool moments. @@atomicman8557 You can use shield in 1.7.10 as i remember, but there is no left hand, so you cant use your second hand to hold shield/torch and etc. It's sucks, but there is nothing we can do
