The WaterLink Spin Touch FF meter does not have the firmware option to switch between dKH to ppm Alkalinity or dGH to ppm Hardness, however, the WaterLink Spin Touch FX meter for customers outside the USA does. If you are running your tests with a WaterLink Spin Touch FF meter and would like to convert from ppm Alkalinity to dKH (degrees of carbonate hardness) alkalinity, you can multiply the alkalinity in ppm by 0.056. My ColorQ 2x app shows that it is connected and the device's Bluetooth symbol stops flashing indicating a good connection. However, when I test samples of water the results fail to transfer from the device to the app. Any solutions for this problem?

There are 1 use and 3 use disks, it all depends on which one you purchase. Currently, there are no disks available to purchase, so do not waste your money. The other problem with the machine is the internal battery goes dead with in a year. This means you will need to send it for repair once a year. This is a nice idea, but a total waste of money do to repair and supply issues.
It’s to bad a pool professional can’t even buy one. None to be found because you sold who knows how many to Leslie’s Pools. I have a spin lab that is now a heavy paper Weight! It dose nothing without a disk! Stop selling to Leslie’s or make sure your of distributors like pool corp PEP have them first!
Several versions of SpinDisks were produced this past year, yet some are still in a backlog situation. Plenty of 4334 multiple-use 3-way disks - featured in this video - just shipped. Please check with several distributors to see which disks are available. We shipped far more 100-packs, in a foil bag vs. single pouched 50-packs, last year due to equipment limitations. We keep investing in new production equipment and facilities for SpinDisks. Difficulties with Covid hits to our production team along with delays in plastics and fill equipment have been the key issues.

If I’m trying to check TDS in a salt pool doesn’t the TDS mode include salt in the reading? If so how do you accurately test for TDS in a salt swimming pool thanks.
Good while it worked (2 years). It gave er7 error codes every so often but now it only gives error codes. I've tried new batteries, new tubes and no luck. I CAN"T RECOMMEND the Color Q Pro 7.

Can you use reagent 4229 or 4334 disks in this version of the spin touch? Are all Spin Touch unit's themselves the same and just the reagent disks different?
