this clip is about a relationship abusev, all the girls are one Minnie personality, it shows how her Minnie personality reacts to the abuser and his attitude towards him at different times in their relationship.
Thanks for reacting to more NewJeans, although it's probably better to pick a proper compilation video of them to react to, instead of random shorts (many of which appear to be made by weird fans or straight up antis).
At first glance you could think this is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. I have no idea if my theory is correct, but the fact that the album is called VersuS VillainS makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, clearly fast fashion. The fact that fashion is moving ever faster is actually the most destructive industry to the planet apart from the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up. The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback. It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. The music is highly interesting as well. There still is rock there, but dialed back. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is punk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.
7:35 Those subtitles are the lyrics of one of their songs Queencard. You should definitely check it out it's really addictive. 10:52 Yes soyeon is the main rapper of the grp but her vocals are also really good. 15:10 nope face of the grp is a different position, it's basically like the most popular member of the grp.

Prevailing theory is that the guy is not only abusive, but also a murderer. All of the characters, other than Minnie, were in relationships with him, and he killed them. When we see them with Minnie they are ghosts. The idea is that each is shown at the place where he killed them, though it is really only obvious with the drowning. That's also why there is flower imagery with each of them. Minnie avoids becoming the next victim and resolves their grudges by killing their murderer. That's why at the end, the others finally look at peace and then move on. Very fantasy k-drama stuff.
@ZDRAGONE This is a great guide but a better updated guide {in my opinion} that has a lot more information is by TeaNoSuga~THE ULTIMATE 2023 GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS. It’s longer 1:27:02 but it gives so much more detailed information that you may be interested in. If you have the time or are wanting to watch it, I highly recommend watching this video.
This was a song Jennie performed all year at concerts as it was unreleased but now it’s officially been released along with the other version which is a remix for Coachella
Good to see you back! I was wondering if you've had a chance to check out their recent Japanese drop Social Path 🔥, or heard about rock star the new mini album dropping next month? ❤ your reactions!
