Is there any chances for you to review Counter:Side? it's a good "Startegy" gacha game made by Korean developer. The gacha system is pretty friendly but it's a bit wonky.
If u play nikke. You should try this game out. Characters can actually be used in content and there is not one team beats all comp. Gameplay is actually fun which is why I left nikke. Story isn't as good and you don't bond with the characters like you would in nikke but I'm playing for gameplay not to watch scarlet drink
How do I use the PC client. Been looking into it since I installed the game on mobile a few weeks ago. But, when I click Download PC version on their website it doesn't actually work. To add to this, their website takes me to google play in which I am not able to install it on PC and only Mobile. Any info on what I'm doing wrong will be greatly appreciated since my phone doesn't particularly like running the game, while my pc is a beast.
I remember playing the original LLSIF when I was in highschool and god damn I still miss it's UI. I like the curved style compared to the flat style ui that majority of rhythm games have these days(or whatever weird style they like to use). It's just feels more smooth for my fingers to move diagonally instead of the horizontal movement the flat ui forces you to. It was really such a shame when I wanted to play it again after years of not touching it only to find out that it's gone forever.
this makes me so so so incredibly sad. im not even angry sad anymore, just this empty sadness you get when you come in terms with losing something you cherished... i used to looove og sif like i used to grind that game like my life depended on it. thank god i was a kid and had little to no income to spend on the gatcha. i remember saving up love gems for birthday pulls when they had special step-up gatcha banners for bday girls with increased drop rates or lower cost per pull( i also remember when they decided they wont do those anymore bc whales gonna spend money anyway...). i remember the satisfaction of pulling a UR, finally idolizing a card, a full combo on master or clearing songs all perfect or just playing the game and having fun. and well long after i fell out of fandom and love live franchise i randomly decide to open the game and what i got was a termination message. all that time, fun, memories and (fortunately small amount of) money i put into it gone, just like that. i never got into all stars, didnt like the gameplay, the focus wasnt put into the rhythm game gameplay enough for me to enjoy. but anyway i checked AS and it was terminated too. and now after long time of not interacting with ll franchise and fandom in any way i get recommended this video, few weeks too late unfortunately, alltho i guess i didnt miss much with sif2. i also heard that the grind for love gems in sif2 was so much worse than og sif and yeah the fact that they put a gatcha shop at all in a game that had a release and scheduled termination in 3 months is fucking disgusting. i only wish i had a chance to do some screenshots of my og sif card collection, my backgrounds, badges.... what would i give to play that game again... ehh
Idk how or why a pity system is the "norm" nowadays when many have heard the horrible tales of people losing those ridiculous 50/50 and what should be the norm is the Spark system
I find it increasingly harder to believe the argument that "wuwa succeeding is good for genshin because competition". Genshin offers about 15 minutes of content, then you need to go buy something in the shop or close the game. And it looks like wuwa is going in the same direction: people will play it after genshin, not instead of it. There is no competition, only an ever-increasing checklist for your gacha 9-5.
I got 3 6star characters back to back when I first started playing, ever since I have been locked into playing the game cuz I feel like I have to hahaha
yeah this game looks sounds amazing and very friendly and very quirky with its naming~ the only thing that kept me away from it is..yeah.. the artstyle. like it looks beautiful but feels weird idk how to put it. overall yeah its great
Why do you think it is fair to compare 1.0 GI to 1.0 Wuwa? When GI started developing their world, they had no frame of reference. Sure there is Zelda, but we can see that it is fairly different even in 1.0 alone. It had taken a lot of inspiration, but the bulk of the work in seeing which works in a gacha setting is not there. Wuwa on the other hand has four years of data from GI to take from. They have a frame of reference. And they can only give this much? GI had to experiment what works while WuWa just has to look at GI to see what works and removing things that doesn't. Saved them so much time and effort, but this is all they can give in the end.
Hopefully one day there will be a video for Taimanin RPG Extacy, since that game is going EOS on August 1st. The game barely lasted a year, and already it's given EOS due to the greedy actions of its publisher Infini-Brain Inc, putting players in gem debt due to a "mistake" on their end, when they know it was planned. But thankfully the Japanese version of Taimanin RPG (and RPGX) are still operational as they were developed and published by Lilith, so it's just the global version of those games.
Uhm I think it's dishonest to talk about tower of fantasy failing and not talk about all the hackers that spawned max dupes of every 5 star character and 999,999 of all currencies from looting any supply chest. I enjoyed playing it for a bit and spent money on it but after that massively devalued everything in the game there was no point. I had 2 good accounts and really enjoyed tsubasa. I just didn't want to touch this game with a 20ft pole after that and neither should anyone else. This isn't the only gacha out there and it's not even remotely close to the best. So why risk your money with the volatility of a game that can be hacked like that.
Sorry but as a UX/UI student, I can say that Wuwa intentionally copied a lot of elements that are unique to Genshin. Their UI design is basically copied and pasted and is essentially plagiarism. It isn't a coincidence and they don't have to say they are the genshin killer outloud to be obvious what they're doing. To say that it is only the fanbase who disagree is wrong. I am neither a Genshin or Wuwa fan so I am neutral on this matter. I dont have anything against Wuwa fans. Play what yall like but it is undeniably a genshin copy. Any other country and they would lose the lawsuit 100%
fu n fact, the similar UI/UX design was a demand from chinese playerbase, they asked them to make it similar to Genshin's as it would be hard for them to get used to a new UI/UX design. theyre kuro's biggest supporters all came from there and they listened, most of the abrupt changes came from them listening to their cn playerbase for too much unfortunately
As of writing this, i have 300 hours in the game and I will not say that it gets better at 100 or more hours. I dont grind the mirror dungeons but my teams are quite solid. To anyone who wants to play Limbus, I really do suggest is by going at your own pace and eventually you will get to harder content eventually and with enough time you gain confidence to do dumb stuff like solo mirror dungeons which are very fun and offer more strategic choices.
I just hope other devs don't give up on making gatcha games mmos, i truly think its amazing. I have 230hr on the game and the only reason I even quit the game was because every time there was a new banner it completely outperformed the old banner. I'm fine with spending a couple 100 dollars every once in a while, but every time there's a new banner? or else I'm trash and everyone can see it cus they show the damage? the whole thing just feels greedy
5:16 sorry but I have to disagree on this one. Genshin's story was good before Sumeru, it's just that Inazuma's story was a big stinker. Did genshin's story massivelly improved with Sumeru? Yes. But it was good even before that. Why would you even play the game if you don't like the story in the first place?
19:00 yeaaah I literally think that this system is rig but for the players cause I've seen so many players get multiple 5* in 1 10 pull. I actually got 3 Roxy and 1 of her costume from just a 10 pull.
16:57 This is a little bit false actually. The Banner Costume will appear on the Powder Shop only after that banner ends. This does not apply for Limited Banners though.
This means that even though you got so unlucky that you didn't get that costume, if you've been saving up powder you'll still eventually get it right after it ends. The only tradeoff for this is that since that banner will end you wouldn't get a 10 pull ticket reward from the costume event. The only significance in pulling the characters early during their run is that you'll be reimbursed 10 tickets of summons per pull of that character.
I rarely play BD2 usually I'll skip weeks and I'm F2P from the start and even so I have 87% of the characters that are released. How is this game making money?
