Great tutorial. It just saddens me a bit that Dan Schutte's "hymn" made its way into the fine tradition of English hymnody. Please tell me that you don't have "On Eagle's Wings" as well.
this product is a waste of money, why should a buy an organ keyboard... its to expensive and has not much to offer..... '' it's not a organ but a lame keyboard ''
Hello. You might be interested in my ‘Church Organ’ playlist. They are all personal compositions. You'll see the cursor move over the score. I would really appreciate your opinion on any of the pieces. Pleasant discovery. Best regards. JM.
This organ has some impressive sounds. May u make a request. Can you do a tour of the stops on this particular organ so that we can appreciate them all as you did on the Envoy 35f.😊
[quote:] "Yeah... and all of these have got ywo woofers now... so the bass is in stereo" - "Yes, which again makes a huge difference". [unquote] Really? Are you serious? Bass is non-directional, let alone stereo!
@@archdukeofsynth You can have double bass, so more bass, even connect four subwoofers if you want. But you can not experience stereo bass. Frequencies under 60 Hz are practically non directional to the ear and can not be pinpointed to a location or direction. So you can not distinguish between left and right. And yes, I have two massive subwoofers connected. On the lower octave of a 16' stop I can not distinguish whether it comes from the left subwoofer or the right subwoofer. 😉
Hello John, Thanks for pointing out the possible confusion in the commentary. Stereo is used in the context of advising that our instruments now have two bass channels. In the past just one. So there is far now less possibility of frequency interference in the bass registers as they speak through two independent channels with notes directed two different speakers in a number of different ways including a 'poly' option that ensures that notes that might interfere with each other in a single speaker are avoided.
@@ViscountOrgans Thanks for clearing that up for me. I interpreted the statement as having a true dedicated left and right channel for lower frequencies. But it does indeed seem to make sense that you get a much better 'spread' of the lower frequencies by adding a second bass driver. Best wishes, John
Thank you for a very nice interpretation! The sound is also rather impressive and better than expected. I presume it is directly recorded through digital audio output?
Hi the sound you hear is taken from microphones in the room recording the results from the internal speakers. We did not use a direct line out as you suggested.
@@paulgodman7939 there were Italian organs sold here under the Principal name that were made by Farfisa . They were not very successful. Are Viscount represented by any North American dealers? I know Eminent and Johannus from the Netherlands were at one time.
"Hey you, the ball in the middle" But "transforming day" is a typo, "day" should be "clay", mortal substance being transformed to souls divine. Sounded great though, four voices isn't much but they balanced well with each other and the organ.
Sets a high bar for teaching choir and learning to sing with expression and proper pronunciation. What attentive students to remember the variety of detail in each set of directions. With some subtle English humour.
Is there any way to hook MIDI from a Yamaha CLP 150 to the computer, and use software to print out the music after you have finished playing the piece? I had it working many years ago, and i cannot get it to work now. Downloaded all the drivers needed, but to no avail. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
