Wow this is great content. Thank you so much Ma for sharing. Pls I noticed as you applied the cream on the back hair, you did only the front part and not the back. Pls can you share the reason for doing that?
I did applied it throughout the whole wig, I just sectioned off the back as I do work like that sometimes so as to focus on the most important part of the process. P.S the hair I sectioned off was not lifted up to the tone as the rest of the hair, so it did came off darker than the rest of the wig, as intended. You’re welcome and thanks for watching.
Sorry I was taught that while placing a 5by 5 closure, u shouldn't pin it straight...u should make an m shape with the 5by 5 close before u sew...but urs was flat
There's a lot of factor that goes into closure placements. I usually do that for 6x6 and 7x7s because the length has touched the brow area (a.k.a mini frontal), but it can also apply to 5x5s if you're working on a small size cap. The way the closure is cut can also play a factor. The GOLDEN RULE is making sure the closure is flush on the sides and back, and there's no air bubbles or gathering. P.S if you create an unnecessary M shape in front, you can risk creating an extra inch or 2 in your ear to ear measurement. I hope you understand, thanks for your insight.
Yes, I did. No I didn’t stack them on top of eachother. I understand this issue, next time try to draw your guildlines close together as much as you can and use a straight stitch. The straight stitch makes it easy to sew the tracks together without quickly using up the space on the wig cap, I hope this is helpful. Try this and left me know how you get on. Thanks for watching.
There are 2 reasons I cut the cap, to make it move easily on the sewing machine and also to avoid it showing under the HD lace because it’s very thin and see through. Cutting the fabric under the closure doesn’t affect the size of the wig. I hope this explanation helps, thanks for watching.
