Amazing. I am 70 years old, only have my right arm and three years ago I bought a Trumpet and I am now able to read notes, and play along, still lots to do, but my spirit is very high, I practice three hours per day, rest and play. Since I am fighting with time, I have to practice as much as I can. I have a dream that some day I will be pretty good before I go to heaven. Thanks for such beautiful performance.
Absolute artistry. Every note elaborated on the meaning of the composition. I'm a professional trumpet player and I can only strive to ever reach this level of improvisation. Thank you Ack! Wish I knew you.
Should be much more trumpet in mix, with far less strings, and especially DRUMS in the mix. Drummer likes to hit CRASH cymbal. Wow. This is about Chuck, not the crash cymbal.
there's nothing like an orchestra that tries to cover up the soslist. And the conductor just waving his little hand, oblivious to any dynamic markings....he's there to make it sound better (at least that's what directors used to do). Chuck is effortless as usual.
As a trumpet player it was interesting to see how Chuck used his tuning slides. It's rare to have an up close and personal video of the horn player. Thank you.......
