Welcome to Northern Rides! My name is Nik, and I am currently a resident of the Kingdom of Denmark. I represent much of the European theme park world with a focus on roller coasters in the North, as well as other places that I travel to. Through reviews, countdowns, vlogs, POVs and more, and while being a meme addict at the same time, I give you my perspectives on a diverse and fun world of amusements. And if you don't subscribe, big sad...
You can use ANY of my footage for your own videos, as long as you give me credit in either the video or in the description. Any theme park related footage on my channel that doesn't contain "Footage by" in the corner of the screen is typically mine. Also, if you feel like it, please let me know if you plan to do this, as I always enjoy seeing people get good use out of my content, and it helps me expand my own knowledge of other RU-vidrs on the platform.
Nice video! Looked fun! I like the gas powered go carts. I also kind of like the electric powered go carts they have in places like Malibu Jacks in Kentucky and Scene 75 Entertainment Center in Ohio. I rode the go carts at Malibu Jacks in Ashland, Kentucky this year. They are fun. I enjoyed watching this!
The training center (queue) was so cool, but I think is gone forever. They replaced it with a temporary (?) horror walkthrough opening this Halloween season
Awesome to hear I'm not the only one who actually likes those TOGO standups. I rode this at Canada's Wonderland back in 2010, and the one at King's Dominion on the same trip, and I really liked both of them :)
Nice video, but I think the video would feel better if you either removed the memes or went all-out on them. (Also, I didn't know that Oblivion has a sequel till now :O)
Thank you! And thanks for the feedback. I've tried a couple different things with the memes by now, and this seems to be the sweetspot that works the best overall 😊.
Great Pov! Looked like a fun coaster! I enjoyed watching! I think I'm riding a coaster similar to this this Sunday called Tidal Twist at the Columbus, Ohio zoo. I'm hoping it's not closed to being out of season.
Ah yes, truly the best idea any Italian had ever had. Jumping into a black hole! But for real this thing looks pretty neat for a dive coaster, baron still probably takes it theming wise for me. But a longer layout is always better on these tall but short boys.
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Yes! I was very scared the first time 🥺 But I went back to it another time, and then it was pure fun! 😁 I rode Blue Tornado too, it‘s my first SLC and I didn‘t hate it? It gave me a headache anyway, wouldn‘t ride it twice in a day😵💫
Not Mr. Clean💀🤣😂 Once again , this editing is top notch👏🏻The ride reminds me a lot of Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. That is my only B&M dive coaster credit, but definitely understand the comparison of floater airtime of Oblivion and Griffon. My three rides I had on it this year were packed with floater airtime. Dive coasters are great!
Thank you! You can't hide from Mr. Clean! Griffon is one of those big classic dive coasters I just gotta ride someday! It looks so fantastic with its grandeur!
This ride is not a one trick pony. It has the main trick (drop) but the layout afterwards is good too. I love the Airtime Hill an the roll afterwards. But that drop in the back goddamn, so good. Such a fun ride.
another review lets GOOOO 🗣 jokes aside, oblivion the black hole and gardaland as a whole both look amazing, i've only been on one dive coaster (baron 1898 at efteling) which is a pretty good ride (i think) but this looks miles better then that, theming aside. great video, can't wait to see the other reviews!
hvis i er 2 mennesker i den så skal i begge 2 sidde på den samme side af vogen helst den inderst fra stationen også den der vejer mest skal sidde enerst så kommer den til at dreje rigtig meget rundt
Ok I know this is really random but I was on rio grande rafting you know the chill river rapids at djurs sommerland that you don’t get wet on wellllllllll when I when we literally maxed out the weight limit so when there was rapids IT MADE US MORE WET THEN ON RIVER QUEST AT PHANTASIALAND
@@Nikologicaldk It looks fantastic! I love how much they've listened to the fans and included many needed features. The rides and customization all look fantastic. As does the new coaster builder. My only disappointment is a lack of a completely staple POV camera. But maybe that'll eventually be included.
B&M Inverts are far more snappy and out of control. But this is just as forceful, although it feels less "heavy", if that makes sense. The transitions are super smooth and flowy, and it of course also has plenty of airtime. B&M Inverts are also less twisty than this
Thanks! I think there're a couple of plausible reasons. For one, it's a hassle to operate, since it can't operate in the slightest amount of rain. I also imagine maintaining isn't the easiest, since its manufacturer is now defunct and likely didn't build it at the greatest quality to begin with (I assume). Maybe there's even a factor in it being built by a Russian company, but I don't know if that's important or not. It's generally not an attractive buy for other parks when much better and much safer options exist. We asked them during our visit, too, and they confirmed that they've been unsuccessful in selling it.
@NorthernRidesYaBoi oh I see. I actually didn't realize the manufacturer is defunct. Yeah with the Russia Ukraine War 🇺🇦 who knows if that's a reason why. I know a park in the US wouldn't buy it though. It looks fun to think it's getting scrapped so easily it seems. It's a shame really.
