Circumcised at 19. Have been struggling with phimosis all my life. My condition was caught by contracting BXO at a young age which led to scarring of the foreskin. Before the surgery my foreskin was tight, able to retract when flaccid but with extreme pain and high risk of paraphimosis, impossible when erect. I had balanitis several times a year and suffered pain caused by the smegma stabbing the glans. This made me felt a bit shameful about my member, and unwilling to have sex. I tried stretching for months but it was to no avail, at that point I was convinced that circumcision was the only way. I'm uncut and have never had any problems like you mentioned. We were taught at a young age to pull the foreskin back when having our daily baths. I think that circumcision is barbaric and so American. We were born with a foreskin so I belive it should be your own decision whether to have the chop when your an adult.
You will lose it. It's a muscle. Do some simple research on how building muscle tissue works. In short, if you stop stressing a muscle, your body will stop trying to maintain a larger size to conserve energy for more vital tasks - keeping your primary organs going. It is no different than building muscle tissue in the gym. It would be nice if you could just workout everyday for 1 year and never have to workout again lol. That's not the case unfortunately.
