EZ-BLADE shaving products have been around since 2010. We started originally within the barbering community where we sold our most popular product, the EZ-Blade shaving gel. We have always wanted to bring the most comfortable shaving experience to our customers, and we started doing that by having our own products created. We didn’t want to have to try and find the perfect product combination from other companies; instead, we knew exactly what we wanted and what the customer would want out of their shaving experience. Push the blade all the way down for a perfect straight cut but only use it with guards otherwise razor bumps like a MF. No bare skin otherwise it's like jerking off with a belt sander.
Whats going to end up happening is, barbers and the current over pricing will eventually push boys and men to learn how to cut their own hair. Ultimately the barbers will lose clientele. A comfort zone with pricing is being erased for content creator barbers. I give it a year or 2.
All parts of a haircut is mandatory. Clippers to using a straight razor. Beard work all of that is normal. Most barbers are skilled. Who’ve been cutting for years. Yet they not trying to charge no $300.
My barber keeps my hair tight. I pay $60 to $70 including tip. That’s maximum. Also u don’t see normal barbers trying to over charge. When they start making content videos is when the prices sky rocket.
In Spain a normal haircut is 12 dollars, a skilled barber is 15 dollars, 20 if u want the beard too. I can t imagine paying 20 or 50 dollars for a haircut
Hi Jay, Do you have a video on the sizes and shapes of razors and how I can fit a razor into every device ? Would really like to know the differences between them
So then the 2 open turns into a 2.5? No guard opened turns into 1/2 closed, 1/2 opened turns into 1 closed, 1 open turns into 1 1/2 closed, 1 1/2 open turns into 2 closed. So the number of the guard indicated when it’s closed not open. Very interesting. That’s why you can’t really fade 2 guard to 3 guard.
Straight razors are far superior in my opinion. They need stropping every shave but only need a touch up on a sharpening stone every ten shaves or so depending on how coarse your hair is. One thing that wasn’t mentioned is the blade length on a straight razor is longer, which means pressure on the skin is more evenly spread out meaning less chance of nicks and cuts. The shavette to me is a cheap and easy way to learn the technique on how to use this style of razor.
Starts at 1:59 use hot towel, quality products, massage product into face, choose straight or safety razor, heal skin witch hazel tonic, last a cold towel close pores
Every time i try to zero gap they’re either to sharp so they bite/scratch or they’re not sharp enough. All the hair cutting videos I watch the barbers trimmers line up so sharp without cutting but yet I can’t figure it out. Drives me nuts
Thanks dude! Cut my hair for the first time today. Appreciate your help. It came out better than I hoped. So have room for improvement. Your viddy was the confidence boost needed!!
Hey, great content, I like the authenticity of your videos. I am in the market for a device to trim my beard length. I have used a Braun device in the past and used their lengths of 2-5 (similar length to your beard/stubble). Would you recommend using a Braun/Philips/Brio, or could I do it with a barber style "clipper" or a "trimmer"
I have an issue taking a heavy weight line out on a bald fade when the hair is really dark is there an easier way to do this fade to make the line dissappear?
Bro already arrived there with the perfect haircut for him. Then he went a bit extreme for the haircut, but hey, if suits his personality and line of work, he do him.
If I have long hair like haven’t got a cut in a few month what gar should I start off to shorten my hair before I go into fading and all that I usually get tapers but I m confused on what gar will get my hair to that length I’m new to all this can someone pls help me out?
I always laugh when I hear the phrase “but they have to pay for equipment” uhhh don’t y’all realize all the money they spend on their “business” is a tax write off at the end of the year so they don’t even pay for any of that stuff themselves… I can’t justify giving someone $50-$60 AN HOUR to cut hair just for a FADE never mind trimming my “beard” (not even a beard just light facial hair).. barbers be crying like they don’t make more than doctors.. taking home 100k a year to trim hair gtfo
i personally think straight razor is not a good option when using on oneself becoz of risks involved ,i did buy 15 years ago and tried my underarms and pubs after i felt i cant use on face and i feel it is best in barbers hand secondly it is best and nothing beats due to it but u cannot use on underarms and pubs and i think t shaped r good but their design prevents to cut easily maybe they have shield in front of them unlike straight razor .if this t shaped r made with a design of straight razor to place half blades like its done in straight razor then it will be very best .i hope u understood my point.
