Bro the holes in the side is a genius idea. I’ve been wanting to make a block for a while now and the main thing stopping me was how da fuck am I gunna get from my house to the park
this will last as long as people forget and remember why full(er) concave is a thing, i do think for my old man feet its different skating a flat board vs steep. grew up skating flat yum teeto boards & thats what i mostly prefer but bbs makes some of the best steep boards around, they last a long while and mellow boards get soggy... also i thought steeper kicks = more pop, and pretty sure ben has shared this sentiment as well so not entire sure, i think this is cool for who it is geared for ( old ppl like me) or ppl w flat feet (also me) but cant speak for the "more response" bs as thats mostly subjective to the skater and unless you have something to compare it with, response is relative to where you are in life and where youre going
Dear DLX, DO NOT introduce a new shape for a pro W/O showing footy of said pro. THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID. I've got footy of Ishod on the twin tail, prolly Worrest on his version, and others etc. However, JUS BECUZ Barbee is an Icon DON'T MEAN HE DON'T NEED NEW FOOTY. Idc if it's top notch, bih, just ONE CLIP. The new 8.75 Mason graphic/shape based off Kelch's oldy, i NEED FOOTY OF MASON SKATING THAT 8.75 Egg/Football Shape IN ORDER TO GIVE A MOTHERFXCK.
wouldnt it be better if that middle layer was wood or vinyl of the same thickness ? like if the top layer was a butter bench but the coping and the bottom half were the same
weird how they call these "OG" classics. When they dont even sell the SFW 99a "classic blend" anymore. Still push the 99a-101a conical and conical full F4 wheels and now these...just a combination of riding surface/contact patch from 52mm-56 that varies from the sfw/conical/conical full....they really didnt need to but now you can choose from all 3 shapes vs....bones v4, or oj hardline, or satori 101a conical full. I havent even skated F4 bc F1 is one of the worst blends in skate history and i can thank spitfire for that one. Duel duro f1 emburns.....flat spot on blunt/tail/nose slides. I wont be forking the 40-45$ for these F4 wheels anytime soon
these are heat i my buy 30$ worth just in case these go out of production. I bought 92 and 94a indy conical bushings back in 2016-17 when i first saw them and they were discontinued until 2020 when they finally brought them back. Id highly suggest buying multiple of these if you like them just incase they go out of production. Plus im aleady considering stacking them on top of each other to run 1/4" on some venture 6.1s so i can run some 58mm wheels. To think the potential of board feel with 1/4" risers vs plastic. It was a no brainer. I definitely need to get some for other trucks or just incase i try a new pair/different brand in the future now that im riding 56-58mm
